Update: Why did you close down??? Im finally in Portland again.
I absolutely enjoyed the food. Got a whole Roast Duck, bokchoy in garlic, ginger sauce, Chinese broccoli in Oyster Sauce, vegetable fried rice, and Duck, noodle soup. They actually give you the whole duck at this establishment. I recommend this restaurant.
Please open again! I need your combo!

Wonton noodle soup and plate of roast pork. The best in town.
Good food with decent price and portion. Been a regular for just over a years or so.
The restaurant is somewhat ordinary looking, but the food is excellent and the portions are huge. Great tasting and good value. I recommend it!
Service great, food not impressive.
It’s a hole thing the wall that is cheap and soooo delicious! Hot and sour soup for 9$ and it’s HUGE! Definitely will be back
I love Chen's and the people that work there and saw the temporarily closed info here on Google and discovered they are just renovating. They are one of the last hold outs in Old Town and wish for them a speedy re-opening.

Best Chinese food in Portland!
We so miss you Good Taste!! Hope the renovation is going well and look forward to having you back, I dream of the BBQ Pork Wonton Noodle soup almost daily! No one does it better :)
Great Cantonese style BBQ! Honey BBQ pork(蜜汁烧腊)is hands down the best I had in a long while - very crispy and flavorful while not too sweet.
friendly service with a nice amount of indoor seating!food came with oolong tea, which was perfect.general tso chicken was pretty good, more on the sweet side although it was slightly spicy toohouse special pan-fried noodles: decent noodles here; they were properly crispy and crunchy and the brown sauce was tasty. the bbq pork was more flavorful than what you would find at other places! otherwise, fairly standard and deliciousegg flower soup: it was OK.overall, a great place to get some pan-fried noodles and other yummy dishes
