Fresh and delicious! Chess Tacos took over the space that used to be El Diablito which had some of the best tacos in Portland [just my opinion] so they had big shoes to fill and did not disappoint.I tried the Pollo Burrito and really enjoyed it. The service was friendly and quick. The burrito is loaded with fresh ingredients, the chicken cooked perfectly, and great flavor! The chips are fresh and crisp, the perfect addition to the burrito. The avocado sauce is a bit meh, but other than that it's all delicious. I will be back to try some of their other salsas and some tacos! Will update once I've tried more, but it was a very pleasant first visit. I took my order to go but there are picnic tables with umbrellas or a few bar seats on the deck if you want to hangout for a bit to enjoy your food.

Amazing food the Pastor is amazing closest I’ve had to authentic since being in Portland. They also have the best salsa the pineapple habanero is amazing same with the mango habanero very spicy but so good!! Definitely recommend I go on my lunch break for work a lot!!! They do get busy so be patient with them they work very hard! -
