Chilango's food is an experience. Not only is it delicious, but I was immediately transported back to enjoying the rich and diverse vegan food in Mexico City. There is no other vegan food I've had in the US that compares to the vegan food scene in CDMX like this place. It's remarkable. If I could give ten stars I would.

Food is one of the best vegan options. Spices were good and things were very flavorful. Just don't come here expecting the "meat" to taste like meat. One thing I would change is to have them reduce the citrus in the tacos and instead give lime on the side so you can control how sour some of the tacos were. Some are a bit more sour than one would typically expect.

I think the vegan community generally pays more attention to where they spend their money. THIS is a business you want to support. I can only say absolutely wonderful things about Chilango. The Suadero tacos are immaculate, everything is fantastic and full of flavor! Agua de Jamaica absolutely delicious and beautiful in color. If you want the real deal, you must RUN to Chilango! My partner and I enjoyed every single bite of food. The workers are the best people. Thank you so much.
Chilango has some of the best tacos i’ve had in portland, period. The flavors are so bold and complex. I truly dont think any place in town compares. I order the chicharron, tinga, and suadero tacos and the were so bomb. The owner is also so lovely and did every thing she could to make our experience great. Please eat here. Your tummy will thank you

It's a simple space where you order and pay at the counter. But what Chilango proves is what's possible with vegan food. We tried a variety of tacos, all loaded with flavor. We aren't vegan or vegetarians, but this place is incredible regardless. Good food is simply good food. And the guacamole is amazing!
