This was by far the best Indian food I have had yet.The food was amazing. The staff was amazing. And the atmosphere was amazing. The tandoori chicken was by far the best I’ve ever had. Same with the paneer. The service was amazing. my dad thought the paneer was a little bit too spicy for him and the staff offered to get a less spicy paneer just for him. That was really nice. I would like to also add how James and Kathy were so welcoming. They gave us a free mango lassi. Definitely coming back here again 10 out of 10.

Another night in Portland area and another great dinner experience at Choice of India Restaurant. Great service and great food. We drive five hours to come to Portland for few days every six months and we only have few meals to eat and last time was not that great at Bollywood theatre but hands down Choice of India is going to be our choice of restaurant every time we are in town

Best Indian food I’ve ever had! Their food was even better than Indian food I had in Malaysia. My boyfriend and I have high standards and we were both equally impressed. We had the lamb curry, daal kabila, and the Chana masala all of them were flavored so well! The service was great too. You should definitely go here if you are craving delicious and hearty Indian food. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!

Food was flavorful and portions were great! Two of us split the tika masala and the aloo gobi with two orders of garlic naan, and still had food left over! We got our orders with the medium level of spice, and it was absolutely perfect. Service was great: the staff was very attentive and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask! Would highly recommend, and we will definitely go back again!

We went there a bit late for dinner but they still provided a warm service. Although we were near their closing time, they didn't make us hurry, so I really appreciated that. Great service! Food was so good! We tried their Chicken Vindaloo, chef's special, garlic and cheese naan. Everything was good. Definitely we will come back next time we visit Portland!

Hit and miss here. I had Chicken Tikka Masala, you cannot mess that up right? and my partner had Tandoori Chicken. The Tandoori was very good, on the bone, flavorful, good size, great dish. The Chicken Masala to my disappointment was not that great, flavors too much tomato, too little actual chicken, not creamy on the sauce . Not impressed. At points I almost wanted a grilled cheese with it! that’s how soupy it was.The nann was good, you have to pay a few dollars extra (other places you don’t as it’s included)I have been here twice now. For certain it’s leagues above OpenTandoor restaurants but still misses the Swagart NW benchmarks on Chick Tikka - ya Gotta improve British national dish if you want to survive.

The food was amazing. We ordered a poori bhaji which is actually chole bhature. But it tasted so good and not at all greasy or heavy. We also got papdi chaat that was also delicious, although order less spicy if you want medium. The paneer tikka masala was also pretty good. Overall food seemed really good quality (not the spices that add flavor but then cause tummy issues) and authentic Indian. Highly recommend this place.

I must say that this place is the best. The people are amazing and so kind. Make you feel at home. If you haven't try the place I fully recommed it. Thanks to the cooks for making the best food I've tasted in a long time. And thanks the two beautiful woman that had served my meal. Must love and respect.

Wonderful food, and super friendly and helpful service. They easily accommodated our group of 8, and didn't have a single disappointing dish on the table. They even offered to take our group photo afterwards (we were there for a friend's birthday). Get the mango vegetable, you won't be disappointed!

Delightful staff and delicious options! I think we tried most every chicken dish and every one was wonderful. Love to support this family owned restaurant.

We went for my friend's birthday and had a wonderful time! This is the best Indian food I've had in Portland by far. And the service was top notch. The lamb was very tender, and the paneer saag was incredible. We will be coming back!
