Went to Chopsticks on a Saturday night and I thought it was going to be busy however it wasn't, it was pretty steady with customers. The staff was very helpful and attentive to me and others. i enjoyed my visit there.

Had a fun night out with people singing Karaoke. There was a good mix of music types and it was a great environment. I didn't try the food but I saw others having it and it looked delicious.

food and drinks are a bit overpriced and meh, but they do have real food, a pool table, and karaoke. the barstaff is kind and friendly. i came in early and sang a couple songs when the place was pretty much empty. as soon as it got a bit crowded, it was a 90 minute wait for each song i put in. i guess i didnt tip the kj enough judging by his reviews on here, bc he was inexplicably rude as hell to me. i usually have a good time here but the guy kjing last night made it a poor enough experience that i would go somewhere else if i saw he was scheduled.

My favorite karaoke bar period. Atmosphere is fun and affirming. Great for parties! Bar staff are amazing particularly Paul who is an absolute rock star! Also shout to Dom, the KJ! He is awesome professional and one of the best in the biz! The food is not great, but if you need something on your stomach go for the pot stickers or the cheesy fried wonton thingies. Another plus- they have a parking lot!
I’ve had a wonderful time doing karaoke at chopsticks over the years. It seems to be a drunk stronghold and a staple of the Portland Northeast community always fun to go in there and do a song like around the world by Daft Punk or all the small things by blink-182 the reason I enjoy doing these songs is the lyrics are pretty limited and you end up saying a lot of the same words over and over it really pisses off the crowd, but it’s a hilarious time for me. I’ve also been informed that the owner of chopstick was it sometime affiliated with the Chinese mafia or the yakuza although I cannot confirm, I do like the Lord behind this partof the story always a fun time. Great place to grab a drink come on down to chopsticks.

First time last night, I had a great time. Bartender is attentive to the comfort of everyone, it feels like karaoke with family you've never met. I definitely recommend. Even if you're shy, everyone is encouraging, picks great songs, and cheers everyone on. I mightve ordered one drink too many just to stick around with the great vibe. It was so nice! Don't be afraid to go alone! Come here and do your thang. New singers are also bumped above those who have already sang, which is a great way to have people stick around! It's hard when you have to wait an hour, have your drink, and just aren't feeling it anymore. Won't happen here! The wait is never too long, DJ does great work and is kind to everyone. Pool tables and generous pours. (: like a dive bar in your home town without the drama! It's about $10 a drink more or less.
