If you need a good brunch spot, Churn Cafe is your spot! I ordered the bacon kimchi hash and it was FIRE! I also tried the Ube French toast and it was literally like eating a pillow! But it was very sweet, too sweet for my liking so if you want savoury I recommend the kimchi hash!
I also tried the mango matcha and it was the best matcha I have ever tasted!
My sister in law got the Benedict which unfortunately for her was cold :( so stay away from the eggs Benedict.
But other than that it’s in a cool part of Portland and the food was DELISH!

What a cute restaurant. The service was great. Very friendly staff and family friendly atmosphere. Our first time there and we were not disappointed. Definitely would go back. Our favorite was the ube French toast. The pandan waffle and fried chicken was cooked well. Chicken was crispy. Maybe just a tad more seasoning on the chicken. My husband liked the kimchi bacon hash but would've loved more kimchi, otherwise it was still tasty. The curry waffle fries were also really good. Maybe just a little more curry flavor. The strawberry soda was refreshing. The ube latte could have used more ube and the black sesame matcha latte was good but couldn't taste much of the black sesame. All in all we enjoyed our meal. I would love to try some other dishes next time!

Obsessed with this Thai tea toast. Had it after work and wow… sweet, crispy, and SO good. Totally made my day! Service was super nice, cozy seating inside, and the outside seating is amazing. It’s on such a cute street. Will definitely be back with friends! Highly recommend coming after rush hour—after 3pm on weekends is perfect.

Something magical is happening with the diverse flavor profiles of these intentionally crafted dishes—how in the world would anyone give a rating below a 5-star review?

We waited 40 minutes and then were seated upstairs on uncomfortable stools at a very small table(4 people). I ordered
the garden hash and the brussel sprouts were hard and uncooked, like they were tossed in the skillet for a few seconds.
The tofu was greasy and mushy, there was one mushy piece of
squash. NOT a meal worth waiting for.

I ordered the ice black sesame matcha latte and it was SO YUMMY!

I didn’t order any food so can’t speak to it, but I loved the vibe of the space and the staff. And again, this drink is so good! I’ll definitely come back just for that

The vibe is great! It is on a busy street with cute shops and restaurants. All the drinks we ordered were great. Loved the mango matcha latte!
The PNW savory crepe was the one my husband didn’t enjoy. We loved the Pandan waffles and the okonomiyaki crepe.

What a fantastic spot! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. We especially loved the outdoor seating area, set back from the road, it offers a peaceful little terrace adorned with cute festoon lighting that adds a cozy touch. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. But most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious, the kind you feast on with your eyes before even taking a bite! We shared the Thai Me Up Crepe and the Thai Tea Toast, and both dishes were bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and perfectly portioned. You can tell real care goes into both the preparation and plating. We’re already looking forward to coming back and trying more items from the menu. A truly lovely stop all around!

A long wait if you want to come during Saturday brunch but well worth the wait. Great outdoor seating, family and pet friendly, great walking location on Mississippi st.

The food was amazing and service was very kind! There can be a bit of a wait, and it is pricey, but the food is so tasty I want to come back. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Portland.

When you first come in, you order at a kiosk to the left. After ordering, you get a number and you can sit inside or outside, and they’ll bring the food to your table.

We got the the Fried Chicken and Pandan waffles, Churn Chili Noodles, the PNW (smoked salmon crepe), and a cream cheese French toast with cinnamon.

Best fried chicken and pandan waffles we had in Portland so far!! The pandan flavor was too subtle to taste, but the texture was really good!

I didn’t expect the noodles to be so good! I don’t usually get spaghetti or noodle dishes, but this was so good, so I would definitely recommend!

The crepes are filling and also tasty, my favorite is the Thai Me Up crepe. We tried salmon crepe just to try something new.

The cream cheese French toast was pretty good! It was different from the other French toast options they offered. I think I would’ve liked the other French toast options more. I think this one, which was just toast and a lot of cream cheese, was not my type of dessert, but if you like cream cheese desserts, this would be good.

We also got matcha lattes, but in a group, I would recommend getting the drink flight! I missed it on the kiosk, but I think it’s offered since I heard another group mention it while ordering.

There was a little bit of a wait, but not too long (<15 min). I could see there was a couple next to us however, who were a little annoyed that their food hadn’t arrived yet, while ours did, even though we arrived and ordered after them.

They also came to the Thai Festival in June, which was exciting! Their Thai Tea Toast in a cup was sooooo good, the shokupan was really tasty, I definitely want to come back to try it in person! They also had this mango coconut slushy that was so good too, but I’m not sure if that’s offered normally on their menu.
