What has happened to this place? Used to be really good but now...yikes! Food sucked, waitress was annoyed we were even there. Took over 30 mins for us to order then another 25 to get food. N then when we did get food, it sucked. It was not complete had to keep asking for our stuff.
My number 1 go-to for excellent Chinese. Staff is very efficient and courteous. Keep it going!! 💯
This is my favorite Chinese Food place. Been going since I was a teenager, hope they never close!!!
The food here is SOOOOO good. We are loving it ! It is so good I'm writing this review before we even leave! I highly recommend it!
Very surprised that this place actually has 4.2 stars…. My husband and I shared the combo number six. The shrimp was overly breaded, the sweet-and-sour sauce was like jelly and the egg roll, that was supposedly made with pork in it and some kind of mystery stuff inside, I was scared to eat.
Customer service nowadays is a lost art. Went to Chu's for lunch had their special. I was waited on by Sam(Samantha.) She was very attentive, she was very good. The Kung Pao chicken was hot and delicious, the spring rolls were crispy on the outside and hot and juicy on the inside. Awesome place. I recommend this place highly. The tea and fortune cookies are complementary of course
This is our go-to when we're craving Chinese food! This is how Chinese food is made, delicious! The staff is very nice and friendly too!
First of all our server was unsanitary. She handled our water glasses with her full hand covering the areas where our mouths touch the water glasses. We had two dirty tea cups and she was extremely slow on keeping our waters filled. We saw good reviews which led to our decision to try this place. Our food wasn't good at all. It's possible they didn't have their go to chef working. We would not recommend this place to any of our friends.

Chu burger is one of the best burgers in Portland. I also really enjoy the General's chicken.

I ordered take out of mongolian beef, schezuan chicken and chicken chow fun and beef & string beans. Lemme say, these looked so good but tasted soooo bad. The chow fun noodles were badly undercooked - so hard and dry, The Mongolian and schezuan dishes were both very sweet (almost like teriyaki) these tricked my palette so bad. The only good thing was the beef and string beans (these were sweet too but it tasted more like I anticipated) This would be the only dish (beef & string beans) I could see myself ordering again but I wouldn't go outta my way to visit. Each dish was about $18 each too
