This is a great and casual bar spot that just happens to have famous chicken and fries! The bartenders have always been super friendly and service is great. They offer a full bar along with pool tables and a big back patio as well. As a bonus - there is a full menu with tons of choices!

I love Fryer Tuck! Amazing venue, and when you’re a poor drunk, looking for a cheap bite of chicken and coleslaw this is an amazing stop on your journey. I love that you can purchase the chicken à la cart. You guys should also think about selling pizza by the slice because the two pizza shops in Hillsdale both of neglected to do so.

But your dark haired bartendress on Sunday evenings is quite unpleasant. I know she’s got a lot of hard customers to deal with, but it wasn’t that busy, and even with her continued sass I tried giving her the pleasant treatment. I ordered, and didn’t leave a tip bc I wasn’t going to stay to use your services. I even tried to tell her to discard using any extra supplies, bags for the take out order bc I was just going to eat as I walked. As I’m waiting for the food I find out she’s not unpleasant to the other seated guests outside. Quite jovial with them. And then she throws down my food and barks “here” as she storms off. But the food is extra packaged and it’s all in an additional plastic bag. I left all of her trash—that I didn’t ask for—there for her to pick up. And as I storm out with a glare in her direction I notice that she’s also quite jovial with the new drunk at the bar too. But why was I treated differently? If I had ordered online for take out I would have been treated like any other customer without the attitude. I paid for my goods just like everyone else. I didn’t ask to pay for her service. But because I’m just some wandering crippled drunk she wants to judge me.

Can’t wait to go back and actually stay to sit and pay for some service—if it’s welcoming.

I’ve have been getting this chicken since 2008. The chicken is always tasty and the spuds are amazing. My only gripe is we just ordered a 4 person family meal on Tuesday 7/8/25 and the chicken seemed more like a pigeon than a chicken. There was very little meat on the breast and thighs that me and my wife ate and not much on the wings or legs which our daughters ate. It felt like the baked beans was a new recipe that is hopefully made in house, cause those were delicious! We will hopefully be back and hopefully the chicken will be back to nice meaty juicy chicken.

Food was great. You have to pay to listen to any music in the bar or it’s completely silent. We came in thinking they would be open until 1 am on Monday night because that’s what it says on google, Apple, and their website and they closed at midnight. We wasted a bunch of money on touch tunes thinking we’d be able to hangout until 1 then they started turning off the tvs and asking us to leave soon at 11:45. Really disappointing with how great the food is and how cheap the drinks are. Probably won’t be back

Update: I am back again! (Several times actually!) I cannot get enough of the gizzards in this place! With a side of white gravy, this is a meal that's heavenly! Come out and try it! I know you will be pleasantly pleased by the food AND the service!
This place is amazing! I had gizzards and garlic fries and the portions are huge! The service is excellent, very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. It's a small neighborhood bar with an atmosphere to match. Plenty of seating. Will definitely be coming here more often!

BEST FRIED CHICKEN & JOJO'S & THE CHICKEN LIVER DINNER IS EXCELLENT AS WELL.

Went there for karaoke. I am not usually someone who is into this, but I had a blast. Staff were friendly, good music selection, and when not singing, there is a covered outdoor area to enjoy with a fire pit. :-)
