Came here for burger week- was the best one so far! Thick meat, with a feta sauce- we came back twice. Ordered grilled sprouted cauliflower which came in an amazing sauce- delicious flavor. Gribiche sauce with garlic infused oil. (Shallots, capers, ...)
Staff is super friendly!
I will be back.

I've been coming here for a good few years now. The staff is absolutely lovely, and I've recieved nothing but great service each time. The food is delicious, and the ingredients are quality. I would absolutely recommend!

Too pricey. The steak was $60, but tasted and looked a lot worse than a steak you’d get at Outback Steakhouse for less than $30. I don’t have a problem paying an expensive dinner tab, but it needs to be worth it. This meal was not. The atmosphere and service were great though.

It seems like restaurants with the kind of service and quality of food that Clarklewis has are going down left and right Oven+Shaker in LO, Higgins (a Portland institution) are both closing.
And Dicarli in Beaverton posted that they are suffering.
Every restaurant has hit and miss nights but over the last decade, Clarklewis has delivered for us almost every visit. I’m praying they hang around and they have my support.
Most importantly, try the Ling cod that’s on the menu right now! It is unbelievable and summery light, fantastic perfect deliciousness.

10/10 restaurant in Portland
Clarklewis does live up to the hype. I sat near the open kitchen, which made the whole experience feel even more special.
The service was outstanding. Our server was so nice, helpful, and clearly knew the menu well. Every dish tastes fresh.
I eat here almost every week or so I recommend 100%

Lovely evening! Clark Lewis is classic Portland/NW! Food was very good, as was the service!
Sat at the bar. The bartender, Steve, was great and gave awesome recommendations for food & wine! Thank you.
Great time here. Food was wonderful. Accommodated a big group of us.

Attended a drag brunch here for pride and spent $83. Granted there was an event going on but service was slow and nonexistent though the staff were very friendly. Based on the food and cost alone I doubt I’ll go back. Also, no flexibility on adding meat to the chilaquiles which I thought odd ($25 base price for chips, eggs and pickled onions). My friends liked their meals but again, not worth the cost. No coffee refills offered, and took over an hour to get initially. Giving three stars instead of one due to grace for special events which can be crazy

Had a reservation for Friday 7/11 at 5p.m wasn’t busy at all when we walked in. Server was friendly and attentive at first but got way too busy within the hour. I’m not sure if yall were short staffed or you believe she can handle the amount of work that was dumped on her. Cheese platter was good, drinks were for the price were not strong enough in my opinion. Ordered the venison and holy moly, what an absolute disappointment $46 for 3 slices of venison that was barley seasoned and that was probably 2 ounce slices with very little sweet potato puree underneath it? Asked for a medium rare I got 1 medium rare slice and 2 mid well slices. Watched the chef just eat while making food and it wasn’t to taste to make sure the food was good, dude was eating and didn’t even bother to wash his hands. Ended up just going up to the front to pay since our server didn’t come back around (not mad about that she was busy but yall needa recognize that a Friday night one person shouldn’t be running one side of the restaurant) I don’t live in Portland but when I come I always try one nice restaurant and for the price I paid for what I received sucked.
The meal was absolutely perfect. The trains, although amusing at first, became distracting. Oh, but the dinner! The ling cod was one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. Start to finish, the food was amazing.
Excellent service and great vibe. Hibiscus G&T was nicely done. Tagliatelle with chicken was delightfully smoky with fresh made pasta. And the salmon was perfectly done
Fancy delicious food and homemade original desserts. Great full wall windows/garage doors that open and open deck.
Fussy menu listing Odd food combinations. Very very salty food. Industrial design with cement floors cause high noise atmosphere. Elderly or hearing impaired will have difficulty with conversation due to high noise inside eating area. Servers were kind, efficient and attentive.
