The fresh and frozen pasta, sauces, meats, herbs and spices, vinegar and oils, and many other products are so delicious! You can't go wrong trying some new things. If not made on-sight, they thoughtfully source products from many small producers. The store clerk can provide helpful info on their more unusual products and how to best use them.Yesterday, we bought 2 frozen pastas, (artichoke/feta and butternut squash/gorgonzola ravioli), a fresh angel hair pasta, a box of Rustic Bakery sweet onion and creme fraiche sourdough flatbread sticks, and frozen basil pesto. No need to thaw frozen pasta. It goes from freezer to boiling water and cooks in about 4 min. It doesn't seem correct, but yes it cooks quickly from frozen. We enjoyed the artichoke ravioli and flatbread sticks for dinner. Used a 21 oz jar of Tantillo brand tomato/roasted garlic sauce. So yummy! The ravioli doesn't require much sauce. We only used about 1/3 of the jar of Tantillo sauce (we already had the sauce, purchased at F. Meyer).Classic Foods is open to public on a limited schedule so check their website for days. Bring your own bag if you think of it. Take a little time to look around and ask questions if needed. You'll really like the products from this local company. 5 stars for sure!

Accidentally happened upon this place while walking through the Woodlawn neighborhood on a Sunday. Everything here screams attention to detail and quality. Lasagna was incredible -everything I bought here was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful employee.

Great products, reasonable prices. Only complaint is they are so successful their shelves were empty for some of their refrigerated products. Go early or you may miss out.

What a great place to have in the neighborhood! They have a vast selection of staples and goodies— fresh homemade pasta, too! They mainly supply restaurants, but are open for retail hours Monday through Friday. Safe distancing protocols in place— you can tell they run a tight ship. Oh, you order your groceries the day beforehand.
