I spent the better part of a Saturday afternoon in a work call here. No one bothered me and I had good connectivity. The WiFi was free and tables were comfortable enough with lots of outlets and room to spread out. The entire venue is wheelchair accessible, however the bathroom doors are quite heavy so be warned. Street parking only. Indoor and limited outdoor seating.
Coava lives up to the hype. Finally tried it on a Portland trip after hearing about it for years.
Had a latte, batch brew, and a pour-over, plus a bag of Meaza beans (a lot of caffeine intake that day). The latte was super smooth and silky, with nice nutty notes and just a touch of acidity that actually made it brighter. Not bitter or harsh at all.
The beans were exactly as described: very clean and clear flavors, lots of bergamot, black tea,...

Used to be very pretentious, but they have a reason, and that's because they are one of the best cups in Portland. Love the space. It's a vibe and the coffee is ridiculous.
