Found another diamond!! First, amazing food. Second, owner is genuinely ready to make your dining experience feel like home. Third, the Arbor Beer Lodge has great music & liquids.

We don't live in the area but will be making this food truck stop every time we're in PDX. TY for the hospitality.

As a lover of both horror films and tacos - the tacos de vampiro were a perfect match coming straight from the inframundo - I loved not just the visual aesthetics of each taco, but the flavor of their barbacoa (a 4th generation family recipe) was phenomenal and made me feel right at home. The chef and the staff running Cocina Serrano were also very kind!

These are the first tacos I’ve had in Portland but they’ve set the bar extremely high and I can’t wait to eat them again.

I paired my tacos with a Dark Mexican Lager from Arbor Beer Lodge to keep with the spooky theme and I recommend you do the same!

Just tried their enchiladas de mole with barbacoa. Freaking fantastic. Mole was sweet with a hint of spicy. Barbacoa was bomb. Definitely coming back.

Well I would love to try this place since there are great reviews....
Hours say 12pm open- I arrived at 12:05 Thursday and completely closed. I was looking forward to lunch and planned my trip 2 days ago.the 2 other carts were open and ready. *
Unfortunately they are not open at the posted times of operation it seems.
I'll update if I get an opportunity to eat here.

I'm a big fan of the Burrito de Barbacoa! I came here the other day for dinner and got to meet the chef himself! Made us feel welcome, and excited about what we were going to eat.
This was my first visit to Cocina Serrano, and I was really impressed. The menu has plenty of great options, and we were greeted warmly as soon as we arrived. We placed our order and then had a great chat. I love to support local, and especially in times like this support our hermanas y hermanos.

We recently moved up from the Bay Area and have been on the hunt for our new go-to spots for Mexican food in Portland to bring our friends and family too—this place definitely made the list.
The location is super convenient, right off Interstate, and there are plenty of other food carts around, so it’s perfect for groups who want a variety of choices.

There are tables that you can eat there or take it to go!
The food itself was delicious and filling. I only managed to eat half my burrito, wrapped the rest up, and threw it in the fridge. And fun fact: I ate it cold later in the day, and it was still just as amazing—no reheating needed!
They made us feel like part of the community, and that genuine kindness and delicious food really stuck with me.
10/10—will absolutely chow again! 🌯✨

Also I would have taken a picture but no lie I went in on that Burrito.

Came here on a friday night, amazing food! The owner is really passionate and kind, he gave us samples of barbacoa before we ordered.
We got barbacoa mole enchiladas and carne asada tacos, both were delicious. We are new to portland, and we will be back!

My friend and I were searching for lunch in N/NE. Searching 'maps' found this Mexican restaurant. Read the steller reviews so we went. We had the Barbacoa plate each. Every bite of rice, beans, Barbara was amazing. Will be shouting about food, owners/chef to family/friends And will return....soon!

Excellent food! Very fresh ingredients. Tried the barbacoa mole enchiladas, unique and savory. Salsas were a nice accent too. Will be back for the vampiro tacos!

Stopped in randomly on a Saturday, looking for something healthy and light. Right away the Charred Caesar salad caught my interest. Added chicken and the grilled chicken was moist and beautifully seasoned. Will definitely be back for more tasty items, looking forward to trying the Barbacoa and Taco Vampiros!
