This is not the place to go to get your money's worth. They charge for a 12 Oz what others in the area charge for a 20 Oz. I should have stuck with Rose City.

Today I witnessed the owner yelling at a disabled woman and a child. The child was playing on the sidewalk, while her mother smoked a cigarette and the disabled woman was talking to the mother and interacting with the child. I noticed a no smoking sign in the window that doesnt clarify where no smoking is prohibited. The woman was not in the doorway, she was on the sidewalk. There is no place to play or smoke for the tenants that are in the attached apartment building. The closest park is not safe. The street is busy. I found it very inappropriate for a man, especially a business owner, to come outside and yell at women and a child. It could’ve been handled differently. Asking and being polite goes a lot further. During the summer, I ordered a donut and an Italian soda form this place and was not impressed with the service or quality of the maple bar. Ive never been back but after what I witnessed today, I felt I needed to leave a review. It was sad to see someone be treated in this manner.

Sometimes I can’t help but stop because I’m craving the best buttermilk bar donuts in Portland. Perfectly crisp on the edges, moist in the middle, smooth flavor - just bliss. In general I think their donuts are among the best in Portland as well, and the ambiance/environment is a blend of cozy/industrial that works well. A few comfy chairs really hit the spot.

There donuts are amazing and good quality. But the real star of the show was the iced almond milk latte I got - double shot. It’s so yummy without any sweetener, the only place I’ve had good lattes without flavoring. Go right now!
Thank you Coco Donuts on Sunnyside! I accidentally ordered a 3oz coffee from Uber eats and the staff recognized it was most likely an error and prepared me a great 16oz Caramel macchiato. 😀 Not to mention their fresh, fluffy and delicious donuts!

Chocolate glazed donut- Just a solid donut. No frills. The chocolate is pretty standard. Really good but not quite great.
Glazed old fashioned- Nice exterior with a moist interior. Citrus finish. I thought lemon, wife said lime. Best thing we got.
Donut holes- pretty standard. Really good but not earth shatteringly good. Almost leaves a waxy like feeling in my mouth.

I ordered 4 doughnuts it came to 10.60$ . I put three dollars cash into the jar. I must have left the tip window open it was early and I was tired. The woman then tipped herself another 20 percent.
Service is great but not a fan of the donuts

one of my favorite doughnuts places in town, unfortunately I got doughnut with a hair inside for my visit over the weekend. I thought it’s my hair at the beginning but then realized that the hair is kneaded into the dough so it’s not mine. Hopefully this won’t happen to others.
