Dear Coco Garden Thai Restaurant Team,

I hope this message finds you well! I recently had the pleasure of dining at your restaurant, and I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the wonderful experience.

Having just returned from a trip to Thailand, I was eager to find a place that truly captures the essence of authentic Thai cuisine. I am thrilled to say that Coco Garden did not disappoint! The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced and neither overloaded with fillers nor lacking in flavor. The Pad Kee Mao was an absolute delight; it had my taste buds dancing with joy! And the fried rice was spot on, just as I remembered it from my travels.

The flavors and presentation of each dish were exceptional, and I truly appreciate the care that goes into your cooking. I understand that great food takes time, and I want to commend your team for the quality and authenticity of the dishes. It’s clear that Coco Garden is not a fast-food restaurant, and the wait was absolutely worth it.

I have already recommended your restaurant to my family and friends, and I look forward to returning myself to explore more of your menu!

Thank you once again for a fantastic dining experience.

Warm regards,

My food was not what I ordered and was ready 45 minutes after I was told it would be done. All the food had chicken in it. I requested that it all be vegetarian. Before my food was started I requested a refund since it was so late I wouldn’t be able to sit and eat. I was told they couldn’t give me a refund because the only person there wasn’t authorized to issue refunds or give a gift certificate in place of the order. After initially requesting the refund I was told it would be 5 minutes until my order was done. After 15 minutes from being told to wait an additional 5 minutes only 2/3 of my was completed and I couldn’t wait any longer.. I requested that my food all be made vegetarian even though I’d paid for chicken because it was so late that the meat eaters had to leave. When I got home I found that the food all had chicken in it. One of the dishes was ordered as vegetarian and one was requested to be switched to vegetarian. I WANT A REFUND. I wanted a refund before my food was started. I WANT A REFUND

Now that I’ve gotten home and had a chance to try the food I am EVEN MORE ANGRY. When my food was finally started (45 minutes after I was told it would be ready) I asked that everything be made vegetarian even though I’d originally order two chicken dishes. Since the meat eaters weren’t going to be able to eat it since they were leaving.

I got home to find that everything had chicken in it including the dish that I originally ordered as vegetarian.

In response to the response given to my original post. I don’t want my last dish. I WANT A REFUND. I REQUEST A REFUND before my food was ever started. I don’t expect Thai food to be fast food. I expected to not be lied to. The person who placed their order before me got there in under 15 minutes. Three orders were prepared in 45 minutes before mine was started.

SO PLEASE stop acting like my expectations were unrealistic. My expectations were based on the information the cook gave me and were backed up by what I witnessed as I stood at the counter anxiously awaiting my order.

There was no confusion about whether or not I was in a hurry. I was standing at the counter. I was walking back-and-forth. I was checking in every five minutes or less.

I want a refund

I requested a refund before my food was ordered

I still want a refund.

Everything I did get, the 2/3 of the order that I actually got 45 minutes after I was told it would be ready WAS WRONG.

Please teach your employees to be honest with customers!

Did you enjoy dinner with my family before my husband had to catch a flight. Asked how long it would take for the food and was told 15 minutes max 20 minutes. I went back to check after 15 minutes and saw that there was an order almost ready. At 20 minutes that order was given to someone else. This happens several times. At 45 minutes I was told that my food had not been started yet, and they could not issue a refund nor what they give me a gift certificate. I was told that it would only be five minutes and all three dishes would be ready. 15 minutes later only two dishes were ready and the third dish had not even been started. I was forced to take the two dishes and leave. I did not enjoy dinner with my family. I did not get all of the food that I paid for. I was late to the airport.

The person who took the order and was cooking the food misled me about how long it would take when I initially asked, and then misled me again in terms of how long it would take to prepare my order once it was placed. I understand that things come up , and I would’ve been fine if I had just been given a refund.

I was there back at the counter, checking on progress every five minutes or less after the initial 15 minutes. There should’ve been no confusion about whether or not I was anxious to get my food.

When I placed my order, there was one person that had placed an order ahead of me. Based on the people that picked up their orders between the time that the person ahead of me got theirs and I got mine. They were all Colin orders. It’s very frustrating to have people that are phoning in get prioritized over me who is standing at the counter watching him cook waiting for my order. I am incredibly dissatisfied with the service and the lies

Veerrryyyy mid flavor. Like none. Got tofu pad thai and tofu pad see ew. We both were confused looking for sauce in the bag. No spice, zero spicy. Was hot and fresh in ten though! The service was quick. But this is an $8 pad thai all day. Will give it another go in a month, see if things pick up.

I have really loved the flavors here and their chili crunch is the best. I was really sad to see that the pad woon sen was taken off the menu. I came here just for this as it was my favorite place in the area to have this delicious glass noodle dish. Also, usually a really nice man ran the place but last time he wasn’t there and there were a lot of teens that seemed to be in training.
