Hey Cracker Barrel you are in violation of Oregon's Labor and Industries final paycheck requirements!! BY LAW we were supposed to be paid for Saturday August 6 and Sunday August 7 by the end of the day Tuesday August 9 after you COWARDLY closed our doors without any notice to your employees!! A claim has been filed!! You should have learned the Oregon laws BEFORE you came to close our doors!!

I used to love Cracker Barrel until I gave up meat. It's okay but not enough options that isn't high carb. Still, it was a fun experience with our daughters and granddaughters. I had a couple fried over medium eggs and their buttermilk biscuits. Simple but tasty! Best if all is their gift shop! Some of it is old school others is just fun stuff. Even if you don't eat, you will find something in the gift shop!

This place is Rad and delicious. Everything we ate was excellent. This was our first time at a Cracker Barrel and we will definitely be coming back.

Really good franchise restaurant. Very good food for those that want a good friend country style dinner. The porkchop Saturday special is delicious and worth waiting for.

We've ordered takeout three times from this restaurant. Each time it was neatly packed and totally delicious. These are comfort foods. There is no cilantro or sous vide preparation, but that's okay. This is down home tastiness. Good old fashioned home cooking. We finished our meals of melt-in-your-mouth meatloaf , sugar cured ham, fried cinnamon apples, flaky biscuits, and dumplings each of the three times and our stomachs thanked us even without the cilantro.

Submitted an online order for curbside pickup at 3:35pm. Website confirmed order and said order would be ready at 4pm. Sat in the parking lot until around 4:10 with no information. Go in and check, they said it should be out soon. Go back to car and manager comes out to let us know there was a mistake made on the kitchen's part and it would be another 10 minutes. We had to wait in the parking lot until at least 4:30 to get the food that was supposed to be ready at 4:00. Did not get comped for any of the food. 3 "free" desserts were given but that is not enough for the unacceptable wait, especially since the family meal is labeled to serve 5 people. I absolutely would never go back and would never give a good recommendation. It was my first and only time I will be going to a Cracker Barrel. I should add that the manager was very nice! He seemed like a great guy and was apologetic. I am just salty that I still had to pay full price for a meal that took WAY too long. 2 stars instead of one star because the food actually tasted okay and was warm when we ate it, even though we took it to-go.

The waitress Tara really made the experience the best. She was so on top of service i felt like i was in a fancy place where they wait on you every second. Her smiling was comforting, when i was thinking my stupid gluten allergy was going to cause me trouble again. I think she even offered to help find some stuff on the allergy list menu because I forgot my glasses and that print was small. She was on point with refills of drink. That peach ice tea is the best! I decided to get one of the two fish dishes that were gluten free. The catfish, it was okay. I personally would have blackened it a bit and added a tad more spice but that's just me. However, they cooked it on a DEDICATED GLUTEN FREE frying area!!!!!!!!!! I'm going to go back when I'm craving fish again. The sides i could eat were yummy. Really wish they had gluten free cornbread maybe later????

Nice atmosphere and good service, but food is nothing impressive. The Ham is as salty as spam. Portions are pretty small. They must be doing something right, the place was busy. Coming from the South, the food should make Tennessee proud. Portland has better southern food.

This is one star too many. Stopped for breakfast. We had the Old Timers Breakfast and an order of Biscuits and Gravy with bacon. The biscuits couldn't have been any drier and hard as rocks. Zero flavor at all with any of our food besides the bacon and that's barely saying something. The most bland and disappointing food experience I've honestly ever had. Our waiter, Roberto was the only positive. Went to check out and the cashier needed help with a free beignets coupon we had for signing up for texts. Called a female manager over who was very rude and abrupt to us even though we had been nothing but pleasant and friendly. We hadn't shared our displeasure regarding our breakfast, we just wanted to pay and leave. In review, do not waste your time and money here. Completely terrible experience.

Staff was great, however the dumplings which are supposed to be a signature dish there, was terrible. From resembling an under cooked pasta which were doughy and then served partially warm. Really a shame as we were looking forward to a good hearty lunch. Portion sizes don't make sense either, as their dinner portion was almost twice the size as the lunch portion, with an extra side for only $1.40 more. Only four bite sized pieces of chicken was included on the "chicken and dumplings."

This place was such a huge disappointment... Came here to get breakfast with my brother, and all the food was just not good. Customer service was a little weird... I know that people are trying to small talk with you and what not But whoever greated/seated us was creepy.... I made it pretty known that I was uncomfortable, but he just made it even more awkward... I think he thought he was being funny, but even my brother was like ....... Biscuits were super dry... sausage was very dry. Ham was very VERY salty. Pancakes were ok. Hash brown casserole was actually the only thing that I liked... Their fried apples reminded me of the inside of apple pie but not as good... Bacon was super salty... Overall for how much I paid, I would much rather go to Shari's for breakfast... This was just sad, especially since I had so many people recommending this place to me.

First we arrive about 5:30 pm and are told there’s a 20 minute wait time even though there’s only two of us and at least a dozen empty tables in just the small portion we can see. Clearly they want you to shop their country store and buy impulse items. Finally called our name closer to 30 minutes and still a ton of empty tables. Got seated and then the server finally shows up and gives us two glasses of water and disappears for 10 minutes. Brings back some nasty corn bread muffins that are dry as hell. Another 15 minutes and the food arrives. Green beans look like they were scooped out of a can! Worst food ever. Don’t go there. Plenty of other choices in the area.
