Loved the cilbir (Turkish eggs). The menu is a good mix of traditional breakfast items and also other unique menu items that I am excited to try.

Tiny space, I'm sure there will always be a wait. Overall, for me, nothing special. Seems very trendy, and no bar seating. I generally eat alone. It was great having an espresso based coffee and not a normal restaurant brewed coffee. I'm not a fan of their biscuits and gravy; it's a little too designer for me.Wheelchair accessibility: First floor.

The Cricket Cafe has some decent menu items and a good variety of vegetarian options. It is however stuck in a cramped and drafty space that does noting to improve your experence. The waitstaff is polite but not particularly motivated or attentive. The hours are also not great so when they are open there is often a wait to be seated. The best experence is to sit outside in the summertime.

Slow lukewarm food with almost no cheese, avocado costs more than buying an entire avocado at the store, drip coffee is 4

A couple of good vegan choices. The tofu scramble was tasty.

Nope. Nope. Nope. Cricket was an establishment with the best omelettes and gravy, seriously. Changed owners about a year ago, and hadn’t been there in a while. Brought the FIL today and we’re so disappointed. No more flavor on the menu, you could almost taste the carton of the eggs and the freezer burn on the potatoes. Wow. Just wow. We will be on the look out for our next great breakfast/brunch spot.

Over poached my eggs! Twice! Poached egg yolks should not be congealed. They should run over your plate and mix with the hollandaise. Mmmmm. Re-try order took so long to come out my friends were almost done eating and eggs were again over poached. Server did not ask how they were.English muffin was under toasted too - not as big of a problem, but worth mentioning.Sad cause that hash brown cake is so so so yummy. My friend’s over-easy eggs had super runny yolks. I guess I would recommend ordering the Benedict with over-easy eggs!I hate sending plates back. It’s a real bummer. Also makes your friends feel awkward that they’re eating and you’re not which is why it was even more painful that the second plate took so long. Kinda ruined the vibe. Sad birthday brunch.

One of the best parts of our trip was our walk from the park to Cricket and back to the airbnb! Definitely recommend the skillet with the vegan gravy!!

The staff here are all so friendly it's tough to say which I like more, the delicious food or the excellent service.I once had a waitress follow me out because I forgot my to go box! Bless! The eggs Benedict is great. The Belmont skillet will feed two. I recommend the home fries vs the cheesy hash. The seasoning on them is perfect. This place gets crazy busy though, so get there before 1030-11 or expect a wait, especially on weekends.

The cinnamon pancake is the best pancake in Portland. You have to try it.Seasoned tofu as the veg protein option is great, I think it’s delicious and this spot is definitely great overall for those with allergies and dietary restrictions. Relatively cheap as well, a bigger breakfast and espresso drink will run around $20/pp,Only L is i wish they had a sugarfree coffee syrup. Overall is a spot worth checking out and I will continue to go back! :)

The tension between myself and this restaurant is like the chef boyardee commercial where the fan rolls home to the girls house. The service is great alongside the food! I always feel so welcomed here.
