The people behind the bar have absolutely zero interest in retention. They do not give a damn about maintaining regular customers. They don't remember names, and they are not interested in creating an atmosphere that you would normally desire in a local dive or bar. They know that the place is gonna be filled with a bunch of randoms because it's on Mississippi, and they do not care. If you're looking for a place to call a regular watering hole look elsewhere.

Crow Bar is a home away from home where it is socially acceptable to double fist a dirty bird alone, together.
It’s dark, occasionally crowded, but always a good (enough) time.
The drinks? Available. The food? Legally required. The staff? Great, unless you don’t deserve it and, frankly, I trust their judgement.
If you’re reading a review about what bar to go to on Mississippi - you’re just the type of person to try somewhere else. Leave just one place for the rest of us to sit and think about the shameful things we’ve done. Plus, it’s got pinball.

Jacob and Hallie rock and this is a fun, chill place with out the snottiness and overpriced drinks across the street. I went out last night and met six regulars who embraced me like family and turned a long, hard work day into a night with laughs and even some pool time! They have pinball machines. Only gripe is no mirror in restroom. As a female who worked all day and wanted to unplug from tech/doesn’t like bringing a purse out late at night that was my only constructive feedback for the owners.

Great place for cocktails. The bartender really pays attention to the drinks that were being made. I don’t recollect the name of the cocktail now but remember the contents. The cocktail had gin, sparkling rose wine, hibiscus and lemon juice. Also got old fashioned which was good. Quick service and the interiors are beautiful with paintings.

When you enter this place it has the look and feel of an excellent neighborhood bar hangout and I really wanted it to be my local “home” bar. I’m new to the neighborhood and was hunting around for my home bar. I went here for the first time to toast the passing of my father and was treated poorly by the night bartender. I went back the next day to ensure my card was charged since I didn’t see a charge from them and wanted to ensure I paid and the evening bartender (a new one) was very, very rude about the entire interaction. I am stubborn so I went back a third time and got the second bartender again (young-ish blond guy with “modern” clothing style). The bar was fairly slow. A few people playing pool and some people smoking. I sat at the empty bar and the bartender came over and gave me a flat stare. I ordered a beer and made a joke, smiled and tried to make some conversation and was met with a blank expression and just a total lack of any human emotion. I drank the beer and tried to talk to him again. He literally rolled his eyes at me as I ordered another beer. I was fairly flabbergasted and just walked out with cash for the first beer on the bar. I will never return and I really don’t see how a place like this survives, if you can’t make new regulars then what the hell are you even doing staying in business? Sad.
