Unassuming Mom and Pop Burger Shop at 136th/Division in SE. Go past it every day on my way home, kept telling myself to check it out, finally did. Stopped in around 9pm, they close at 10. Service was fast and friendly, quite a few folks in there having some ice cream on a rainy Thursday night. 4 on the atmosphere as it was a bit bright, especially after a long day, so that's the only blemish. Had a Maui Burger and Fries. Hit the spot, Burger overall was good and juicy, the pineapple helped, fries were fresh and hot. Great shake selection too, only thing missing was a coffee shake on the menu. I'll be back. ??

I love this place to my core and would move states if this place closed. The food is so good in such a way where I believe there putting substances in my food to make it more appealing for my body to consume. My body will shut down if I don't have Cruisers at least once a week, and it is the best local fast food place, I would incline anybody looking for goof food in the near by area to try it and never go down on cruisers again.Kid-friendliness: I personally am a 12 year old myself and there were no threats, no dangerous things and I saw kids and parents all around my booth with my parents. It is a lovely place and I would genuinely say please try this food.

Went in today for lunch and to my surprise Cruisers no longer offeres the all beef discount days of Monday thru Wednesday. The discount day price has been going up year after year so on discount days the double was up to $8.00 but today and every day from here on out the double cheese burger is now $12.40 . I have been going to Cruiser's for about 6 years, mostly on discount days because the discount days price fit nicely into my weeekly eating out budget. But since I am on a fixed Social security income I guess eating at this establishment has come to an end today because a double cheese burger at Cruisers or anywhere else is is not worth the everyday price of $12.40. It is a shame but I guess that's life.Parking: Small lot so when it is busy on site parking is a problem

Normally, I do not have a problem with Cruisers. They're a simple dinner that makes a good, albeit greasy burger, and my only real gripe was that they skimp on the milkshake mix-ins. Today changed that. I called in my order, like I typically do, and it was ready by the time I arrived. No problem. Until I get home, sit down and begin my meal. I'm missing a party. I ordered and paid for a double and received a single. Like one does, I call the restaurant to see what could be done to rectify the situation they put me in. I was told that I could bring the burger back and they would remake it. I expressed that I don't necessarily like that as it's about a twenty minute drive each way and that would mean I've have been in my car for nearly 90 minutes for a mistake I didn't make. So I asked if there was another option. I was told that on my next order I could "tell" them about the mishap of today and they could "try" to make me another burger. To confirm I asked if my only options were to 1. Spend at least an additional 40 minutes waiting for a new burger for a mistake I didn't make or 2. Hope (because he kept saying "try") that I could get a could that burger on my next visit. He said "yes". Then he proceeded to hang up on me. I never got a change to tell him what I planned to do, I never yelled, I never used and expletive. He just hung upLike any normal person, I got upset, because that was very disrespectful so I called back several times to talk with the guy who displayed horrible customer service. When he finally answered, I explained how that it was extremely rude and how I didn't display any behavior to warrant such an action. Again, I never raised my voice, called anyone a name, used explicit language. On the way there to replace my burger since that was the only guarantee that I was given, I had extended grace towards the individual who hung up on me because they were on the you get side and as someone who works with folks around his age, I know a lot of them are conflict adverse so by hanging up he probably didn't believe he would actually cause a conflict. My irritation were at management. That went out the window when I got to cruiser's for my replacement.I asked to speak to management, he cut me off to say they were not there at the moment (yeah, I totally believed that). I tried to explain that I wasn't upset with them as they weren't trained properly. And that set him off because he got upset and said that he is good at his job. I said that he wasn't because he wouldn't have hung up on me if he was (I probably shouldn't have but ??‍♀️). He also started to lie (I guess he figured out a cover story after my second call) and said that he offered both a full refund or that I could come and get a new burger. I called him out and he doubled down. When I mentioned that I wasn't nice nor kind of him to hang up on me the first time (he did it twice btw) he said it wasn't nice or kind of me to keep calling back when they were busy. Yeah, that makes sense. All while this is happening one of the line cooks is being kind of rude, but also keeps apologizing. Like in-between the "I'm sorrys" were "do you want the burger or not"Long story shorter, I got my money (which he never offered over the phone) tip included, because this wasn't whole experience warranted negative tips and stars. I threw the burger away, because they would not accuse me of having my cake and eating it too. I liked cruisers, but I have no problem cutting people and business out of my life so it's unfortunate that I would have to do that to them but ??‍♀️

The burgers are good, the fries are terrible (they'll suck all the fluid right out of you!), the malts taste like shakes, the atmosphere is fun, and the service is fast and friendly. I'll stick with the burgers and shakes going forward. Other places make better malts.Parking: Small lot.

Great little burger place with a wide variety of shakes and an ice cream counter. Also, a great selection of sides. I especially like the jalapeño poppers, not too greasy.
