Always love this brewery. At first glance, the location seems terrible, but once you get settled in everything seems perfect!. Great views, cozy fires and comfortable spaces inside and outside. Great schwag too!
Good food and beer, nice place to sit and hang out
Pictured is the Chopped Cheese (cheeseburger on a hoagie roll), nitro stout, Fresh Is Best Fresh Hop IPA and PCT Porter. Crux is out of Bend, OR and recently opened a place at the historic Dairygold plant in SE Portland.
We came here last week for Burger Week and had a great experience. The service was pretty quick and friendly. I really enjoyed their burger - which had hatch Chile and cojita cheese. I was also impressed with their shaved flat fries, something that I hadn't seen. I would definitely come here again.
Super friendly staff, our server was killing it. Interesting beers and at the time I was there a pretty legit Burger Week contribution.
Atmosphere is top notch, food is fantastic, the drinks are delicious and the staff is friendly. Definitely a great place to hang out with friends and family.
We came for dinner and drinks for the first time and I think next time, we won't come hungry. My steak frites were not very good and the wings lacked flavor despite how seasoned it looked. It was weird lol. Their bread pudding though, top notch. Amazing. ?
The drinks were cold, the service was kinda slow and the place was pretty clean. Lots of parking available.
Oh! And I should mention, they should probably use a scrubber when they do the dishes. My water cup had a crust on it, likely from the last person who drank out of it.
Nice spot to take our teen after a long walk at S Waterfront & crossing the Tillicum Bridge. Steak frites and beet salad were yummy. Great soundtrack selection too ;)
Solid spot to grab some drinks & food on the side. They have outdoor seating & a reasonable amount of indoor seating. Long list of beer options, including a couple sours & ciders. They offer cocktails, too. The food is semi-bar style but it was still pretty good. Def would go back. Plenty of parking, too. Was surprisingly not that busy on a Friday at 7pm.
The berry salad was excellent. And the fish tacos also: yum. Their fries are unique and delicious as well. Excellent kid area upstairs and solid outdoor options outside. Service was fantastic. I loved the Gose so much I got two. Both of my husbands beers were good as well. We will definitely be back.

Shoutout to the staff for their superb service. This Crux location is a great family friendly venue, infants and toddlers abound. Plenty of high quality beers on tap and surprisingly delicious dessert. I don’t even like bread pudding usually but the Crux kitchen makes a fantastic one. Highly recommend the ice cream cookie sandwich as well. Yum! We’ll definitely be back with the whole fam.
Fun place with a large selection of beers and cocktails. We were just passing through - and it's probably a good thing because I could spend WAY too much money there!
Food was meh to OK. Sounded better on the menu than it turned out to be on the plate.
Sorry dude! Service was awful. Slow to come to our table, slow to bring the food, and even forgot one of the meals.
Great beer. Good vibes. A perfect stop for a Saturday afternoon bike cruise.
Drink a tasty micro-brew as you watch the sunset. Huge tap list. if you like Hazy IPA, try out ‘Glow Stick’. The Korean Chicken Wings can be hit or miss. When it’s a hit, they’re tasty. The bruschetta and brussels are excellent choices as well. When the weather is nice, the outside seating is a must.Last night (Thursday) they had an outstanding acoustic guitar player singing all your favorite mellow covers. The music filled the space, while not overtaking it, so you could still have a conversation.Pro-tip: If you’re coming from the east side of the train tracks, and you don’t want to get stuck in your car for a full hour, use Powell Blvd and you avoid the tracks!!
