Not as good as before the menu changes. Been going to Da’hui off and on for 8 years. We probably won’t be going back again. Ate-Oh-Ate is %100better for less.

Parking: Parking on Foster and nearby streets; spots are much more difficult to find during evening hours and on the weekends.

5 stars because I had a great time, food was amazing and cheap, and I just love a neighborhood dive where I can chill out and get a big fat tiki cocktail. I’ll be back for sure.

I do have to mention though, the service was quick but super rude. The bartender the night we visited a couple weeks back was easily of the least friendly bartenders I’ve ever had, which is saying something. Maybe she was just having an off night. I’m in the industry myself so I totally understand that not every day is your best shift, but my friends and I felt like we were offending her just by being in her presence. It was hard to feel totally comfortable there because of it. She still got 20% because it’s my personal law to never skimp on a tip, but it hurt to leave the cash, I’m not gonna lie.

Stumbled upon this spot and was not disappointed. The pulled pork and potato Mac was on point. Would come back here again.

Brought my parents for a fun afternoon out while they visit from out of town. We loved it and enjoyed the amazing service here!

Dietary restrictions: Not many vegan options. The only menu item available was the tofu masubi.

Dont get me wrong, the foods great and I know this seems silly, but man the new menus just really lame. They cut like a 1/3rd of the drinks from it, and I think the old one was very cute and aestheticly pleasing, while this ones just boring to look at.

I would've thought that a Hawaiian bar would have known how to make a Pina Colada. ? Nice presentation. Just a bad outcome.

Quality and presentation of the food ls alright. I had higher expectations for the soyu chicken. Due to the reviews and previous authentic Hawaiian restaurants and food carts I’ve gone to in Portland that have been good. Service is ok, I definitely was dissatisfied with Mac salad it could be a lot better than how they are currently serving it.
The atmosphere definitely brings a diverse kind of environment, as far as authenticity it’s lacking
