Star Climber

One of the best eateries in the OHSU waterfront area. Their specials are amazing, their baked goods are made fresh everyday and extremely tasty, their prices are very reasonable, soup and sandwiches are good (I've had their turkey sandwich many times), and their staff are very friendly, kind, professional, and on top of things. I've never had a bad experience here, and eaten here many times. They're always happy to see you, and you can tell they feed lots of comfort food to tired students, doctors, nurses, patients, and other staff. Just a great place, and if you're down by the Tram, do stop in and get something, as it's well worth it. It can be a bit busy around noon, so best time to come in is before or after the lunch rush. However even if there's a line, their staff is so on top of things that the line moves very fast, so it's hardly a wait at all. If you want a good breakfast, I recommend the Tram Eggs. Don't forget to ask for a side of jam and butter for your toast. They make their jam in house, and Idk if they add a splash of wine to it or what, but it tastes amazing.

The burger was DRIPPING with grease, the bun was soaked, but I was starving and behind the counter seemed chaotic so I didn't want to bother. I thought this was supposed to be at least a health conscious cafe considering it is inside of a medical center? I felt like they were rushing to close everything down, it was only 3pm (note: they cut the grill off at 3pm), they close at 4pm. I frequent this location a lot only having picked up from the grab and go something at least much more healthier than their menu board options, but will continue to just pack a healthy snack so I am not forced to eat here when I'm stuck at appointments all day. Unfortunate, but this is bar food.

This place is a bit deceiving. I've eaten here a few times since my dad has dr visits here often. I love when we come around lunch time, because their daily specials are always on point.I'm always a little nervous when there's a long line, because I expect the wait time to be too long, but it never is. I love that they have real dishes and silverware if you're dining in, but also have the option of to go boxes and plastic ware. I've never ordered anything on their regular menu because the specials are always amazing, so I can't say anything to the menu items. I never pass up a chance to have lunch here

Dietary restrictions: I would love to have some soup but the times I've been the offerings sound very spicy. On paper they look delicious, but I don't want to risk a spicy soup and have to deal with IBS on the way back home and then for the next week or two on the BRAT diet.I have ordered a sandwich, bakery & coffee. Everything else has been delicious.Wheelchair accessibility: Very close quarters to order and pay at cashier counters. Big floor to ceiling beams that you have to side up and order & pay. If you want to eat at a table, it's so crowded with tables it becomes a must you have a friend to help you park safely when backing up or moving along other diners. We took ours "to go" this time.

I was floored you Charge 6$ for a muffin! The sandwiches are 15$ for a pre-made box sandwich. It feels like a cafeteria.I hope you share the profits with your employees.
