I LOVE this place! I live in Vancouver, but the food is worth the drive. And the Sweet Heat Platter has been a lifesaver the past two holiday seasons! It's been a hit every time. Highly recommend.

I am over in the northern part of Ladd’s Addition and often head to Belmont for the dining scene. A friend and I went in to The Daily Fuel for some vegan fare, and I ordered a hamburger — the most challenging item to make in all of cuisine, or apparently, this is The Daily Fuel’s take on it. Either that, or they were deliberately trying to sabotage my sandwich — the entire thing was utterly undermined by half a head of gross, unwashed lettuce wedged between the garden patty and bun. No one who has ever actually eaten a burger before in their life could make a mistake of that magnitude, so do the cooks have personal vendettas against the customers?A few weeks later, I was out at a bar on Belmont with friends, and in walked the owner of The Daily Fuel with his wife. They then proceeded to get into an argument with the bartender and physically fight the other patrons. They are now banned from that establishment, I understand.So. Not great food, not great people. End of story.

Some of the best vegan food in Portland!! When it comes to price, portion, and nutrition, nothing can compare to Daily Fuel. Their seasonal menu is always full of healthy, high-quality, beautiful food - prepared with real love! The owners are genuine, wonderful people who work hard daily to feed customers "clean" food that's authentic, nutritious and flavorful. They offer many gluten-free and vegan options. Favorites in the past have been the Buffalo Jackfruit Mac'N'Cheese, "The Dude" tempeh Burger, and the Power Bowl. Their shakes are also amazing! I love how they list protein information. I cannot recommend this place enough, and urge anyone looking for a unique, quality food experience to try them out in their new SE Belmont location :)Vegetarian options: 100% veganDietary restrictions: Gluten-free, vegan.

Best vegetarian comfort food around. My boyfriend’s a carnivore himself but even he rated this place a 10/10. Met the owner as well- it’s a small family owned restaurant and it’s such a friendly atmosphere with yummy food:)

Unfortunately my wife and I went in with really high expectations after seeing the reviews but the food couldn’t have been more disappointing. I never waste food but couldn’t even finish my burger because of how bad it tasted.
Delicious, healthy food. Beautiful atmosphere. And by the way, extremely friendly service! Dax and Georgette, the owners, are very friendly and thoughtful, and work very hard to make sure customers have a great experience. I highly recommend this place!

I make special trips all the way in from Ridgefield, WA just for this AMAZING FOOD!I’ve followed these great folks from their first opening at the food carts to this beautiful restaurant location.Huge portions, delicious and healthy food, and GREAT OWNERS! 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ EVERY SINGLE TIME!
