This particular Diary Queen shares a spot in Lloyd Center's Food Court with Orange Julius. It looks as though it serves hotdogs along with a bunch of frozen products. I got the Oreo and Fudge Blizzard, which was good and very thick. I bought a large, however I'm pretty sure a small would suffice anyone. The worker there was friendly and was smiling the whole time. The atmosphere is negatively effected by how sad and empty the rest of the mall seems to be these days !!

Closest DQ around and the food is exactly what you expect. Always head here when I get the craving for a Blizzard!

A sad excuse for a DQ, sorry to say. Move out of that dead mall and into a place in North Portland somewhere. There's a DQ vacuum in N Portland.

This is one of only two options left in the Lloyd Center food court and it shows. Their lunch menu is limited to hot dogs and pretzels. The buns we received on our hot dogs were hard and chewy as though they had been heated and cooled multiple times.

There's two Mexican ladies "working" right now they keep hanging out in the back. I had to wait a while before they finally came out.I stopped by to ask for the free cones and one lady said I had to pay one dollar for the "donation" which would be $4 I had no problem paying but the fact that she said I have to pay that to get a free cone is what got me. Then the other lady came out with attitude because I asked for 4 cones for my kids which I had with me.

Derek Queen is a great place to get something nice and tasty to eat. I got a vanilla Ice cream cone dipped the chocolate (Price $4.99) which was so delicious to eat at the Lloyd Center shopping mall.

Always friendly employees and well made treats in my experience at this location.
I ordered a pumpkin pie mini blizzard and there were 3 chunks of the pie , whipped cream and nutmeg and none of the pumpkin flavor mixed in. After the top bites of whipped cream and pie pieces it was was a full container of I’m just vanilla ice cream. When I asked the woman at the counter if she could add some more flavor she explained they just dump it on top and we (the customer) have to mix but there wasn’t any pumpkin flavor period.

Great service
Icey treats very sweet to eat.
This is one of the handful (literally) of businesses still open at the Lloyd Center. We stopped in since we were in the neighborhood, and wanted to play the "Daytona USA Champion Edition" arcade game there (its owners told us it was there). As we wandered through the almost completely vacant mall, we decided to stop in for some "desolation treats" here. We had to wait for several minutes for an employee to materialize from behind the front counter, and ordered. The employee was competent, but not notably friendly. The treats were about what you'd expect from a Dairy Queen...competent, but nothing noteworthy. Prices are high for what you actually get.
