There's two Mexican ladies "working" right now they keep hanging out in the back. I had to wait a while before they finally came out.I stopped by to ask for the free cones and one lady said I had to pay one dollar for the "donation" which would be $4 I had no problem paying but the fact that she said I have to pay that to get a free cone is what got me. Then the other lady came out with attitude because I asked for 4 cones for my kids which I had with me.

Derek Queen is a great place to get something nice and tasty to eat. I got a vanilla Ice cream cone dipped the chocolate (Price $4.99) which was so delicious to eat at the Lloyd Center shopping mall.

I ordered a pumpkin pie mini blizzard and there were 3 chunks of the pie , whipped cream and nutmeg and none of the pumpkin flavor mixed in. After the top bites of whipped cream and pie pieces it was was a full container of I’m just vanilla ice cream. When I asked the woman at the counter if she could add some more flavor she explained they just dump it on top and we (the customer) have to mix but there wasn’t any pumpkin flavor period.

so I know there is nothing. Super exciting about a Dairy Queen inside of a dying mall... Yet again here I am on the edge of civilization. Looking on the horizon. Oh, what is coming next to what used to be such a nice booming mall. I do like to stop every once in a while for the ice rink especially Christmas time when you get to come see the tree and the fake snow falling then againwho am I calling fake snow I guess and it's own way and it's own form of snow. anyhow, I'm a s***** for a dipped ice cream and really and truly that didn't show the dairy queen put on just isn't quite that anywhere else. We ran and grabbed a couple chili dogs for the kids and we're glad to see a gluten-free vegan option for my diet restricted other half, #Lame, never seen such a slow service in all my life it seem like the two people working there were splitting up the duties of one person that was having a bad day. my son ordered an additional shake right after me do you have an idea of time it took him 20 minutes to get it and when we approach there was no one waiting in line so it really does say to the speed of this place so if you are in a hurry, or just one general good customer service it might not be the place for you but then again, maybe that's what's been going on at Voice center mall and why is that way.

This is one of the handful (literally) of businesses still open at the Lloyd Center. We stopped in since we were in the neighborhood, and wanted to play the "Daytona USA Champion Edition" arcade game there (its owners told us it was there). As we wandered through the almost completely vacant mall, we decided to stop in for some "desolation treats" here. We had to wait for several minutes for an employee to materialize from behind the front counter, and ordered. The employee was competent, but not notably friendly. The treats were about what you'd expect from a Dairy Queen...competent, but nothing noteworthy. Prices are high for what you actually get.

This is one of the (literal) handful of places still open at Lloyd Center. My son and I were in the neighborhood, and after a depressing walk through the vast and almost completely vacant mall, we decided to stop in for some desolation treats. Service was prompt, if unenthusiastic, but our orders were made correctly and promptly. As far as the treats go, well, it is a Dairy Queen, so the quality (or lack thereof) is exactly as one would expect from a DQ. If you wind up at the Lloyd Center, stopping in for a desolation treat may be one redeeming aspect of the visit.
