Classic, contemporary, comforting. Count on modestly sized dishes that are impeccably prepared and presented. Flavors are understated. Service is exceptional- the staff is collectively attentive to the dining room, clearly helping each other out to ensure diners receive attention. We also appreciated the finely paired wine recommendations with our meal. The restaurant was completely full and had the nice buzz of a well-loved place.
Kevin and Jerry continue to bring it on the East Side. Everything was fantastic, grilled lamb loin was some of the best I've had, wine pairings were sublime. Portland is so privileged to have these two chefs in town!
We dined at Davenport last night after hearing consistently stellar reviews, and we were genuinely excited to experience it. Overall, it was a pleasant evening, though the food ultimately didn’t quite live up to the hype for us.
