This place is a Portland gem. Amazing vibes! They had fantastic drinks. Very inclusive food and the best ambiance. Cozy romantic cool vintage, and more. Very interesting drinks. Both Cafe drinks and bar beverages and I love that they were so inclusive with vegetarian options, gluten-free options, and zero proof options. Very important. I highly highly recommend.

I came here early to drop in for some coffee and tried the sage matcha which was delicious with a slightly bitter taste. I will definitely come back again to try the other flavors. There is plenty of seating inside, including couches in the middle. It looks like a great location to study, and it is spread out enough to not be too noisy inside.

I really can't say enough good things about this place. They have managed to pull off the impossible and to create a space that functions beautifully a coffee shop/cafe by day, AND in an incredible cocktail bar by night. One of my favorite places to do work on my computer.
What's furthermore, everything on the menu is above and beyond excellent. From the coffee and tea selection's to some of the best cocktails i've had in portland and quite some time plus great wine and beer selections and a beautiful array of bites. It's so clear how thoughtfully this place was put together. The space is so warm, comforting and inviting. The staff are knowledgeable. I can't say how much I appreciate having this the establishment in my neighborhood!

We were new to the place and went after 6 PM.Entered near the bar counter entrance. No welcome from the workers, thats totally fine but we were waiting near the bar counter for almost 5 mins bcs we didn't know whether to sit or wait for them to receive. Didn't see a billing area to place the order before sitting. No clear order here sign. And barcounter was to clumsy and pretty dark that we didn't notice the tiny computer screen.
Finally decided to sit grabbing menu from one of the dirty tables and figured out the tiny screen to order and ordered after 15 mins.
Food was good . No complaints.

As everyone says the vibes are immaculate here, there’s lots of different types of seating which is great, they host cute events and community pop ups plus the seasonal Fear Sandy and Dear Santa menus have been so fun! I love that the whole menu is available all hours and they are open so many hours you really can get a tasty cocktail, coffee or snack anytime! 😍

I just realized I haven’t reviewed Dear Sandy yet. I come here super frequently. It started with looking for a place over a year ago that I can work late but that I don’t have to order alcohol. Sometimes I’m just not feeling having a drink but I’m always interested in coffee. Plenty of outlets and seating. It’s a super cute place and everyone is really friendly. A great sense of community and I feel like you can easily focus in and read or get work done or you can meet folks and be social. If you haven’t gone yet, you should.
