Saturday evening: wanted the wings and tacos, they were out of both
Brussels were delicious
Fried fish good other than one piece was quite soggy
Smash cheese burger okay.
It's the skinny french fry type served hot, crispy and plentiful.
Full liquor bar
A few microbrews on tap
A few wine options
An A plus for the Hurricane from the mixed drink menu

Good locals bar. Good food and everyone laughing with each other. Good banter with everyone. Only thing I didn't like was the lights were on some dimmer than was slowly and constantly changing intensity and color. Some may like that. It kept messing with me trying to find the cheese soaked chips. If yeah, nachos were excellent.

I'd pass until they figure out what they are doing. You can probably get a good beer but I wouldn't stop in for a meal or cocktail.

Fun place to hang out! Small crowd but very friendly, staff is awesome, food rocks! Insude out ham and cheese sandwich is my new favorite!
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp and a handicapped parking spot next to the bar.

Edit: Charged me for my friend's drinks and called me a liar. Better places nearby.

Well, the change in management is pretty obvious. The Chinese food is gone and the menu is greatly reduced. The restaurant side was dark early on a Saturday evening. The waitress decided to finish her conversation with the bartender and a regular before eventually getting over to take our order. I wouldn't say it was a rude amount of time, but it wasn't quick either.
The fish and chips were fine; however, about half way through dinner, we got blasted by Lords of Acid. This was well within dinner hours (between 5 and 6) and not like 8 or 9 pm. The Decoy has transformed from a middling neighborhood diner/watering hole to a dive bar.

Used to be a fun bar with good food. Lots of families on the restaurant side. Now food is terrible. Only 4 people there on a Saturday night. Husband and I regretted going even before we got our food.

Fabulous diner! We stopped for dinner on our way back from Sauvie’s Island and everything was delicious. Definitely recommend the mac n’ cheese and nachos.

First off, the made-to-order scratch food. It's refreshing to know that nothing is frozen, and the quality and taste truly reflect that dedication to freshness. The owner's presence was felt throughout our visit, and their sweet, thoughtful, and friendly nature.
Initially, our plan was to grab a bite and a few drinks before heading to a haunted maze, but Decoy became a highlight of our evening.
Without a doubt, we will definitely be returning to Decoy. I highly recommend this bar. Thank you, Decoy, for exceeding our expectations and providing such an outstanding time.

Dropped in at Decoy before we went out to the haunted corn maze. Stellar service, great rosemary fries. Bartender had great energy. A gem!

We are bummed. The Decoy has been our go to place for the past 5 years. My husband is fighting cancer and we do treatment in Portland. After every appointment we have gone to the Decoy and really looked forward to it. We went yesterday and arrrgh. The menu was pathetic, scribbled on the whiteboard on the wall. The new owner met us at the menu over the top talking. The food was awful, the place was baron. We loved and missed the decoys. Other patrons were also not real happy. The service was poor. It had a taco salad that had a weird rice goulash in the bottom with green beans in it. My husband had the carne asada soggy french fry goop...horrible. Weird. I had a bad belly and ? barfed in the night. Still don't feel good this morning. So sad as this has been our go to place, we have brought friends there. We live in Forest Grove. Decoy is crossed off our list and we will not be back.
