Best Indian food in Portland, if not Oregon, if not the US.

Holy, Lord. I got the lamb kale bowl — one of the best meals I had visiting Portland.

Visiting from out of town- this is some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had!!! The flavors were unlike any Indian food I’ve tried- still traditional but with a delicious twist. You can’t go wrong, every single thing on their menu is amazing. We hope to come back for more soon. Cheers!!

I love Indian food. Once a week! But this place was so bland and not spicy 🌶️. It may have been the 3rd or 2nd worse place I have ate
The best Indian food in a German beer garden, and a contender for the best Indian in Portland.

Remember folks, all the negative and over the top ago reviews within a few days of each other are hate brigades. They are bots and accounts that aren’t in Portland and have never experienced Desi Pdx. since no service was provided it should not be considered valid.
DesiPDX is fire. The cardamom chai chicken was perfectly spiced—so tender and flavorful. The katsu plate? Super crispy and packed with flavor. Even the sides are thoughtful. You can tell there’s real love and intention behind the food. Total gem—support spots like this!

Anti American cowards who deleted their post burning the American flag. Don’t worry, I saved it! If you’re normal person, don’t give these freaks your money.
The tandoori tempeh was hands down the tastiest tempeh I’ve ever had - packed with flavor and an outstanding texture. The pickled veg and garlic was a delicious contrast to the rich curry. I also saw the person working offer someone less fortunate a plate of food, and the generosity was really lovely to see. Highly, highly recommend.
Owners are wonderful. Messaged with owner Deepak. Made sure my concerns were addressed regarding gluten cross contamination. I wish this restaurant was in Seattle.

Our party ordered a combo platter with shrimp on 1/20/25 and it got everyone food poisoning on their flight. Not a great experience and caused a change in plans / travels.
The shrimp tasted near rotten. Will not be coming back.
