Tried the seasonal Dal Plate. - excellent flavors and textures. could do with a bit more of the dal for the portion of rice, I felt it was a tad bit dry towards the end.

The Vegan Thali Platter is FANTASTIC! More vegan platters please, I can’t believe how yummy this was. Everything on the platter was extremely good and special, and I especially liked the tempeh (I’m so picky about tempeh and this tempeh was so deliciously light, flavorful, with a delightful crispiness). I think it actually might be my favorite tempeh I’ve ever had. The slaw was also really really good, I want to know how to make my own and just snack on it always. Anyway, I feel like I just stumbled upon a gold mine, had no idea this existed. 🔥

Been eating here since I moved to PDX over 5 years ago and it's on my shortlist. Select a protein and the accompanying Plate has a special selection of seasonal chutney/pickles, a fresh af slaw, wonderful yellow basmati rice topped with a protein. All meats are amazing and I really like the ground lamb. The seasonal pickle always tickles my taste buds. If I'm still going after 5 years, it's a 5 star establishment. The particular food cart pod has something for everyone.

My friend's celiac is very bad, she's very sensitive and reactive to gluten. After eating here, she did not feel sick.
The food here is clearly dedicated to being gluten free as we shared a couple of entrees.
The gentleman who served us, was very courteous and helped us determine which entrees to choose; The food was very good.

Visiting from out of town- this is some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had!!! The flavors were unlike any Indian food I’ve tried- still traditional but with a delicious twist. You can’t go wrong, every single thing on their menu is amazing. We hope to come back for more soon. Cheers!!

DesiPDX is fire. The cardamom chai chicken was perfectly spiced—so tender and flavorful. The katsu plate? Super crispy and packed with flavor. Even the sides are thoughtful. You can tell there’s real love and intention behind the food. Total gem—support spots like this!
