Wow, flavor explosion! I just had the dal with rice (lunch bowl) and the flavors were amazing. There’s some crunch with roasted chickpeas and sweetness with dried fruit in the rice. I love Indian food so I can’t wait to try other dishes and the food at the sister restaurant. The service was friendly and very quick!

Delicious. I had the tempeh tandoori plate. Fresh, creamy, and just the right spice with great pickles, coleslaw and beet.

Erhan went from touching raw chicken to cash register without washing hands then back to working with food. Was also very impolite and disrespectful. Don't bot recommend and will not be back EVER again.

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed this! We went out to eat her for a late lunch. We bought the combo plate and loved everything in it. The entire truck is gluten-free too! That made ordering easier. They know their allergies, even my latex/mango allergy. The chicken was so good and cooked perfectly. The curry was just right and went with the rice perfectly. The shrimp was cooked perfectly with a kick of spice. You can’t go wrong with the pork or lamb. We really loved the lentil cracker and dips. The only bland thing was the bean mix. Everything else was devoured! #glutenfree #indianfoodDietary restrictions: Absolutely wonderful place for anyone with allergies! They know and cater to your needs.

I've eaten here, as well as Masala Lab, many times. The flavor profile is just incredible, I really haven't had anything else like it. I'm always impressed. Yesterday I had a pulled pork plate and it was divine, especially the housemade pickled vegetables, they really just highlight all the flavors. My husband would only let me have one bite of the lamb, I will be getting that next time - it was delicious! I am a budget conscious person and sometimes I balk at the price of eating out these days, but I have to say that the generous size of the portions (I will have this one meal for 3 lunches!) makes it come out at a totally reasonable price, plus the quality is just outstanding. This is a food cart but it is in a really sweet location with nice covered seating, heaters and a full bar available. I definitely recommend it for a meal out, plus I heard they cater which I am hoping to enjoy one day!

I definitely prefer the vegan plate over the fried chicken! The chai cardamom wings didn't give me too much flavor. But the vegan plate on the other hand was nutty and delicious.

Super delicious! I got the Vegan Thali Platter and really enjoyed it. I typically eat mild when it comes to spice levels and the green chutney was indeed spicy (as described). I would totally get this meal again, but would skip the green chutney.

One star for presentation . No taste, just bland and hard fried potatoes for $13. I'll skip this dish. Thanks. Keep following me for more honest reviews only inspired by taste.

If you are looking for traditional Indian food, this food truck may not be right for you. The food was beautifully plated- I loved the colors. However, the food was alright. Personally, the tandoori tempeh curry lacked authentic tandoori flavors and spices, and the dhal was just okay. For $22, I was hoping that the food portion would be bigger as well.

Fantastic vegan food! Highly recommended! I ordered the vegan thali platter and it was very delicious. The tandoori tempeh curry was outstanding, one of the best curries I have ever had!

Nestled in the very cool post marketplace, desi pdx was a must hit for my vacation this time around. I ordered one lb of the chai masala chicken + basmati rice + spicy green chutney. On its own the chicken savory, sweet, sticky, but with the chutney and rice it was a flavor explosion. Seriously one of the best things I've ever had in Portland. The food was fresh and delicious and didn't take too long to come out at all.
