I LOVE this place! Absolutely my favorite sandwich shop in all of Portland. The staff is always friendly and their sandwiches are BOMB?? I highly recommend getting their special because whatever it is when you come here, it’s bound to be awesome. My other go to favorite is the number 3! Never had a bad experience here and I can’t wait to come back soon and get another Devil’s Dill!

Definitely the best sandwich I’ve had in Portland yet! My only regret was not getting another #5 to go! Also is connected to the coolest bar!! ? Amazing vibes now is definitely a Portland staple for me!
This is a solid go to spot for my wife and I. For us, hands down best sandwich shop in Portland. We’ve been getting takeout for a couple years now and have never had a bad experience. The staff have always been polite and professional, with a surly punk rock edge here or there, but always professional. I think they take pride in making great, unique sandwiches with high quality ingredients. I’m a #3 add turkey guy, it’s a 10/10 sandwich with the kale and chow chow.

Takeout was great. Good location, diverse options, hearty portions, good price. Also love the restaurant name. We had the monthly special of harissa meatball + lemon mint dill goat cheese spread on ciabatta, and the red wine braised beef with horseradish aoili, both of which were excellent. Looking forward to trying more items, after all: the devil is in the dilltails~

The last 3 times I've ordered from here through DoorDash they have ignored the changes I've made to my food (allergies) and I haven't been able to eat it. They even wrote the changes correctly on the paper the sandwich is wrapped in but completely ignored said changes. When I called to say something they very rudely told me there was nothing they could do because it was through a third party.Working late night at a bar up the street we used to order from here least once a week but I will NEVER get food from here again and will be telling all my industry people in the Hawthorne area to stay away. It's not that hard.... just DO YOUR JOB
