Soooooo glad we decided to check this place out! We went in a group of three and did two of the Succulent Pots and a leather Flask Holder! Super impressed with the quality of all the tools, variety of craft options, the two FREE drink tickets per person, and the helpfulness and knowledge of Molly who had allllll the tips and tricks for us when we (I mostly) needed support! Will definitely be returning- ambiance was great, playlist seemed catered just to us, and everyone was so friendly! Really recommend planning like fifteen minutes to find parking lol unless you’re really lucky!

We appreciated that everyone could choose their own project and work at their own comfort level. +++ for the staff that helped guide the process. DIY BAR is a great place for experienced and new crafters! A relaxed environment, enjoyable music and good drink options (larger selection than I expected). Milly and Adam were helpful and walked us through the process as first timers and checked in if we had any questions throughout. We will definitely be going back!!

I feel lied to. We had one person no show in our group of four due to a medical emergency. I understood there could be a no-show charge but when I asked the staff about it, they acted understanding and as if they would waive the fee. At the time of check out (all three of us did the more expensive project and had a few beverages), I thanked them for waiving the fee and tipped accordingly given that I thought I received great customer service. Almost two weeks later, I was charged for the no show. I called the business to see if it was a mistake and the lady was completely indifferent. Really disappointing... if you need to charge a no show fee, fine - but please be upfront about it and charge it at the time of service.
Gifted my husband a DATE NIGHT here for VALENTINE'S DAY and we had a blast! DIY BAR had a Watercolor Valentine's Day Cards Event that I reserved online ahead of time, $40 per person. We had expectations of copying the instructor and everyone in the group painting the same design, but to our surprise, they gave us the creative leisure to paint our cards with whatever design we wanted. I only wish we knew this ahead of time so we came prepared with knowing what to paint. There was one main instructor and another assistant who was walking around, giving us tips and answering all of our questions. We learned about some watercolor techniques and played with new materials. They left us alone to paint for the most part during the 2 hours of the class. DIY BAR also has a small selection of beers, wine, and other drinks to choose from. The space is super neat with lots of art materials plastered on the walls. They have other types of arts & crafts kits to choose from. All in all, we had a really good time and we are looking forward to our next date night here.

Partner and I had a date night here and had a blast. There were good options for projects and the staff was incredibly helpful. Any time I had a question they were quick to answer.Very cute space and well organized to take advantage of every nook & cranny.We were very happy that they had non alcoholic drinks options. An amazing experience and the only thing that I can think would improve it is if they had a 2nd NA beer option. Though even without that we'd still easily go again.

Great team activity in Portland. You will need 3hrs to finish an activity. Good beverage options. You have options to make a your own diy project. Instructions are provided written and visual plus you can also ask the staff. Had a great time and was able to create my own wristlet.
