Meat was so burnt and hard it could not be eaten. Worse food ever. I will never go there again.
If you're going to work in this industry please understand English got every order wrong ordered a burrito no veggies add sour cream no sour cream and a bunch of veggies and then got all the street tacos wrong and the other two orders were also wrong when I asked for stuff to be added they didn't so I just wasted $75 lady nodded her head and said yes she understood me when clearly she didn't
Food is always good, but we always ask for red and green sauce, enough for the food we ordered, and never get it.
Not a huge fan of Mexican food but if I'm Going to eat it Mexican food if going to be here. Also there breakfast burrito is the best u will find, maybe even better then in your own kitchen.
People there are nice. But you have to be specific on what you want.
Ordered a caldo de res to be delivered by door dash. I got it with no vegetables, no tortillas, the wrong drink. It was only meat and water with a bit of rice.
Went to this place last night and order carne Asada fries with sour cream on the side and they gave me a side of mayonnaise sour cream is white, this stuff was a yellowish Color and smelled like mayo. I will never go back to this place there fries were disgusting cold and hard. The people seem to be really nice but I don’t understand why they would do this to me I will never return.
Fresh Mexican food, nice presentation. And was tasty. My son had a Carne asada burrito, I had a birria plate rice and beans, salad, tortillas. My hubby got , the 2 piece grilled chicken plate with rice, beans, and tortillas. Plus 3 large fountain drinks. They were fast and friendly! $48 with a $7 tip. Total $55 for early dinner.
Best Carne Asada fries in Portland other places screw your order up even if you tell them 20 times no beans sour cream or guacamole they still slap it on. This place never screw up my order and there's always plenty food leftover.
Left a 20% tip last night and for whatever reason they thought it was ok to add another 20% on top of that at the end of the night. MAKE SURE TO GET A RECEIPT WITH YOUR ORDER IF YOU PAY WITH A CARD. Very disappointed in this establishment. Never had a problem before. Avoiding this business from now on and advise you to do the same. I would give zero stars if I could.

OrderedBean & cheese burritoNachosFood was so cold & disgusting!Feel like I just threw my $ away ...Never going AGAIN!Please dont waste your time going.!Very disgusting terrible experience.
It's good authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. Not as good since they took out the salsa bar. If you ask for substitutions or alterations to a numbered meal, they'll get really confused and might give you the wrong thing, so I would suggest not doing that.
The cashier can surely use a pot of coffee before they open shop.Free tip: Don't rush your clients by saying,, "is that it?!" when ordering, especially when there's a party of 2+ people.Lastly, for the place being completely empty..... the food was rushed and burnt.Don Pedro should be ashamed of his staff. I'm sure he's taught them better.
I've eaten at several of the Don Pedro's around Portland, as well as many other taquerias. I was disappointed with this one.I ordered nachos ($12), with carne asada. The meat was of poor quality. About half gristle and fat. Almost every piece was like biting into a beef flavored piece of rubber. Not only were they the most expensive nachos I've ever gotten at a Taqueria, they were one of the worst in quality. That being said, I think if they had better quality beef the food might be good. Maybe their other meats are better? Service was friendly, decor is typical Taqueria.
When we have ordered from here, I specify for their meat, bean, & cheese burritos only bean, cheese, and the meat specified due to allergies and they seem to purposely fill the burrito with rice, pick, salsa, everything they can except for beans and cheese. I figured the last time was a fluke. Now I know that it’s happened twice that they are purposely making orders wrong if you specify for allergy issues. We will never order from their restaurant again if they are going to be immature in regards to their food prep.
