Nice location, friendly staff. However, not many coffee options which i was suprised since i thought a panesito and cafecito vibes. The sweet breads were okay... not as soft or flavorable.. i did try their breakfast sandwich and THAT was yummy... reminded me like being at northgate with the sweet breads tho :/

We stopped by because we saw a lot of people walking thru the neighborbood carrying baguettes and bread! The bakery was crowded, so Im sure the sandwiches and menu items are good. We decided to try 3 of their bakery items. Apple filled tart: i liked the apple pieces, very subtle, light flavor, wasnt too sweet Cream filled muffin: i felt like it had a bit too much filling where it tasted very heavy Chocolate croissant: we were looking for a chocolate croissant, and was told this is it. This definitely was more like a bread/bun. Slight hint of butter, but the bread was so dense and dry. We were pretty disappointed The service was great and the staff was very friendly. But unfortunately, all the bakery items we tried were way too bready/dry for us. We were expecting more flaky textured items.

The chopped sandwich is amazing! The large is huge and stuffed with chopped deliciousness. The sesame bread was amazing and fresh with a slightly crisp crust and tender inside. I don't know why all sandwiches are chopped--it's the best way to get a little bit of Everton one bite! We also got a few pastry items to bring home: Ciabatta with garlic ($4) 5/5: we re-heated this a bit in the toaster oven, and it was great! Nice crust and tender inside with whole cloves of garlic throughout. Raspberry Cruffin ($5) 4/5: nice, but could be a bit flakier. I like the ones at Twisted croissant better Cardamom bun ($5) 4/5: I didn't taste any cardamom, so I wonder if it was a cinnamon bun? I'll be back for the sandwiches and bread!

I been coming to the new location before they open the sandwich side of the business. Love the break off sourdough and sweet bread. Always end up buying more than plan. Today we had one of their sandwich named BADA BING: salami, ham, prosciutto, mortadella, cherry peppers, red onions, lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard, red wine vinaigrette. This was incredible taste with all the ingredients in the sandwich. Great balanced and large enough sandwich that you share. Just to let everybody know all their sandwiches are shopped. So if you're in the area stop and have a taste. Next time I will add pics we were so hungry we forgot to take pictures. I will update pictures on my next trip. Ambiance is great lots of locals eat here and the decor fits with the culture.

At this brand new authentic Mexican bakery and sandwich shop on SE 11th Ave & Stark St near the Goat Blocks in SE Portland. Place is getting a lot of hype on the food blogs.14 inch Papa Gabe Sandwich (ham, jalapeños, queso fresco, crema, salsa verde, tomato, lettuce, cilantro, chicharrones) with a raspberry and cream cheese pastry and a Coke

Came here for their famous chopped sandwich and boy was I glad I did! I ordered the bada bing and my wife got the Get them to the Greek! First off the large was the size of my femur for $18 which in 2024 is a great deal when you can't make this sandwich for that price. I say that because YOU CAN'T TOUCH THEIR BREAD. My goodness I had to order two loafs and keep coming back. Sandwiches are amazing, bread is delicious and affordable considering and I just love the ambience. One knock would be the speed and service is a bit slow. But good food takes time so it's worth it. I recommend this to anybody in town who loves a good sandwich. Every bite hits the same

Went on a weekend and it was pretty busy when we walked in. We ordered a whole Papa Gabe sandwich and it was pretty good size! The sandwich was good, a little too much bread for me and not enough filling to my liking ( imo ) but overall it was very tasty!

Love their bread! Their Pull Apart Sourdough is soooo good! They also make good Ciabatta rolls for sandwiches and awesome Sourdough English Muffins!

Absolutely amazing pastries! Can't wait to try them again.Note: I have only experienced Dos Hermanos tangentially when I have purchased their bakery goods through local resellers.

I've been excited to try this place for a long time! Great interior, clearly it is the commercial kitchen/bakery for Dos Hermanos, with the front being a little restaurant area. I came with my sister, and she ordered the Papa Gabe and I had the breakfast sandwich on a ciabatta roll. Both were delicious! I was happy they had a restroom for customers, and the staff were all friendly and quick to prepare our food. My only complaint is that they didn't have specialty coffee drinks that would so nicely accompany their enticing bakery treats.

Love their bread, unfortunately I haven't been able to get into the cafe because it is always so busy and no parking. I tried their chopped sandwiches and I ordered the Irish Goodbye and was extremely disappointed. My son had the Bada Bing and that was much better. Definitely want to go in, but super busy atm. I prefer to pick up their bread at the Saturday market if I can since they don't have ample parking in the neighborhood.
