Our server Haley was friendly and quick. Paul was very helpful. The food was fantastic and every beer was delicious. I wish I lived closer, I would be here all the time. A must see place.

A must-do when in North Portland. Great pizza and staff. Option for partial baked pizza let's us take out, then back at home when we are ready. Awesome.

I'm sorry that I didn't find the store before they were going out of business. Everything is wonderful.

Double Mountain is such a great addition to Overlook. For two years their super friendly team has been providing the neighborhood with outstanding beer, cider, and pizza. Today they turned it up to eleven with the brand new special, the enchilada pizza. I’ve had pretty much every special over the past two years and (apologies to the heirloom) this is by far the best. Green chile, pulled pork, sweet corn, jalapeno, I would eat this year-round. Please put it on the permanent menu!

With a heavy heart I am knocking a star off what has been a solid 5 star enterprise that I have enjoyed for years. I hope the feedback will encourage a correction. Have been to Hood River and frequented Woodstock and food and service were always stellar even on the busiest night. When Overlook opened I was among the first of their customers and the New Haven style did not disappoint and service was on point. A few months back however I noticed on a couple of visits the service was rushed and impersonal. One of these times we were outside waiting for check and forgotten completely. On the next visit the pizza was devoid of cheese. We were shocked but in typical Portland style did not complain. Finally we tried to call in an order but after slowly giving the order 3 times the read back was incorrect. I had to give up. I hope this was all just bad luck and my experiences were outliers or if there is a problem things can change because I have loved Double Mountain for years.

Double Mountain Overlook Taproom is a hidden gem that delights both the eyes and the palate. Nestled in a scenic location, this taproom offers breathtaking views that enhance the overall experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to unwind with friends or family.

One of the standout menu items is their BLT sandwich, which is nothing short of exceptional. The sandwich features thick-cut, crispy bacon that perfectly balances the freshness of ripe tomatoes and crisp lettuce, all enveloped in perfectly toasted bread. Each bite is a harmonious blend of textures and flavors, making it a must-try for anyone visiting.

To complement your meal, the Kölsch light German ale is an excellent choice. This beer is light and refreshing, with a subtle sweetness and a hint of floral notes. It pairs beautifully with the savory richness of the BLT, making each sip a delightful experience. The Kölsch captures the essence of German brewing tradition while providing a refreshing option for those looking to enjoy a lighter ale.

Overall, Double Mountain Overlook Taproom is a perfect destination for food and beer enthusiasts alike. With its stunning views, delicious BLT sandwich, and refreshing Kölsch, it promises an unforgettable experience that will keep you coming back for more.
