Dreams Cakes made our wedding cake, a delicious chocolate cake with salted caramel and toffee crunch. The cake itself was beautiful. It looked both playful and elegant, something my partner and I wanted. Guests have texted me since saying they can't stop thinking about the wedding cake; I've highly recommended Dream Cakes for weddings, birthdays, or any celebration. I was happy to have leftovers to enjoy for several days.

I am not a cake person and after trying out sample cakes, I couldn’t stop dreaming about how delicious they were! Unfortunately our caterer forgot to serve one of our cake flavors at our wedding and Dream Cakes was nice enough to make us a small cake to enjoy for our anniversary at no charge. The owner is so friendly and the service was awesome. Highly recommend!

Poor communication, seemingly hot tempered and impatient as well. After I asked for clarification on pricing and some inconsistency in the contract that was sent, they canceled on me after I payed the deposit and said they were out of my budget even though the cakes I wanted met their minimum. They did reimburse the deposit. However I will not use nor recommend a company with poor communication and bad customer service.
Update: if you felt as though we were not a match and you were not confident in your abilities to create the cake I was interested in that should have been communicated from the beginning instead of taking my money and then deciding after that “we’re not a good fit” hence why I said you have poor communication. I understand I was late in asking questions this was because I took my time to decide which bakery I wanted to go with. I will not be rushed when making important decisions regarding my wedding. Getting put off by me asking a couple last minute questions and in the end canceling shows a lack of patience and in my opinion rash and hot tempered decision making. Respectfully my statement still stands that I will not recommend nor use a company with poor communication and bad customer service.

Johannah is truly a creative genius and just such a wonderful person. I gave her minimal design instructions for our wedding cake and she created the cake of my dreams. For one of the tiers of our cake, she stenciled in the roses that were on my wedding dress and then created the most perfect Grateful Dead groomsmen cake for my husband who is a huge dead head. It was positively perfect.In addition to the cakes being beautiful, they were absolutely DELICIOUS! For our wedding cake we did a 50/50 combo of lemon cake, lemon curd and berries for half then white butter cake and cream cheese frosting for the other half. For the grooms cake we did funfetti and wow all of the flavors were so delicious. Our guests have not stopped raving about them!We could not recommend Johannah more. She is exceptional and so talented. Thank you Johannah for everything!!

We picked up the little fancy celebration cake (carrot cake w buttercream) for our elopement at Crater Lake. It was beautiful and so delicious. A WEEK later, we took the leftover cake to a family dinner, and it was still incredible. The best part was watching our 1 year old granddaughter devour it with her hands and feed it to my new husband. Especially since 10 days before, at her birthday party, she had no interest in her own smash cake. I can’t wait for our next special occasion, so I can order another cake from this bakery!

Dream cakes did a wonderful job with our wedding cake! We had a layer of carrot and a layer of coconut cake and both were a huge hit with us and our guests! We were especially in love with the icing - neither of us are normally huge buttercream fans, but we loved the texture and sweetness level on our cake. Their icing was easily the best buttercream we've ever had!!

She brought the fun factor and served as an extra friend during the planning. She gave us both guidance and hype around our cake ideas. And of course, the cake and vegan cookie sandos were to die for! We highly recommend having each tier be a different flavor combo. Our guests loved trying each of the flavors and while we ordered wayyy more cake than the number of guests, we left the night with almost no cake remaining. Dream Cakes hit the spot and had all the materials to make a pressed flower cake of our dreams. They were super flexible when we needed to add some last minute vegan goodies for our vegan friends (which were said to be the BEST vegan dessert our vegan friends have ever eaten- plus were gone in an instant as all non-vegans were indulging as well).
