I hate loud ambient music and this place has actual music that still lets you carry a conversation and here yourself think. 😍
Husband and I came here for drinks and dessert after Fogo de Chão. He had the Manhattan flight and I had the Raspberry lemon drop with house-made Raspberry syrup. Our dessert was the iron skillet cookie. So good!

An intimate setting and a classic hotel downtown. A few small tables and about 10 seats at the bar.
The cocktail bar is one of the best stocked I have seen in the city. While others might specialize in whiskey or rum, the Driftwood bartenders can craft almost any drink that you can imagine. Jeff was immensely helpful and deeply knowledgeable about absinthe, which they do have an impressive selection of. If you've ever thought about trying to chase the green fairy,...

We got the Driftwood Sazerac (which they lit on fire briefly!) And the Germaine absinthe fountain. We enjoyed both our drinks, and Curtis gave us some awesome backstory/history...
