This place is amazing. I got the grilled chicken and it's wasn't dry at all, the sauce was a little watery but it's better than having a thick sauce for me, super family owned they care deeply. Definitely try this but understand it'll be 13+ per person :)

Du's has awesome teriyaki. I love their sauces and am a big fan of the spicy chicken. Their portions are a good size as well! I've only ever gotten takeout, but the restaurant itself isn't really charming or inviting - the food is the star of the show for sure.

Meat was well seasoned but bibimbop came with no pickled veggies or egg, just meat and rice. Came with a side salad of iceberg lettuce and ranch, so weird

Their food is just as good as any other teriyaki in Portland. Just one thing, they don't take cash. Every other restaurant does. I have recently found out that in Oregon All Restaurants Are Required To Except Cash, IT'S THE LAW.

Doesn't except cash(card only)
our own currency? 🇺🇲 That the last time I will visit.

A long time ago Du's reigned for best teriyaki in town. But that time has passed. Poor experience from ordering to service to dry rubbery cold chicken and their reign is OVER.
I.loved them for more than a decade but I won't be back

I’ve been going here since the 90’s and I used to love it. The last few times I’ve been here the teriyaki chicken has been so dry and hard. You can tell it was not freshly made. Not sure if management has changed or what but it definitely is not the same.

I'd been to Du's some years ago and remember it being decent for the price. I went here tonight after a long shift at work - I just needed some food and grilled beef sounded good. After a few minutes wait with nobody in line, someone helped me. They were out of rice and they said none would be ready for a while. They were unwilling to substitute noodles for rice and unable to offer me any other solution. There are lots of better restaurants in Portland that actually want business. I'm not going back to Du's

Du’s is my favorite! I’m from out of town and look forward to it every time I visit PDX. Delicious food, giant portions, and it’s that rare place every person in my family loves without exception.

Love this place. The food is fresh, flavorful, and plentiful!

We like to order the chicken teriyaki and the yakisoba with chicken. Both are excellent. There is so much food that you can get at least two meals out of single order.

The people are friendly and the parking is good for the location (Sandy Blvd). There is a small parking lot, which usually has a couple spaces open. Otherwise, there is usually street parking nearby.

Definitely worth checking out!

Food was fine but VERY sweet. Everything even the spicy chicken was sweet. I'm sure it's someone's cup of tea but not mine.

Kid-friendliness: No kids menu we just ordered a side of meat for our son and shared our rice. Two high chairs.

Fine service, though to go bag was sloppy and leaky. Sadly... Mediocre, bland food for its mediocre pricing. Standard chicken thighs, with substandard seasoning. Standard veggie option in chicken broth, also lacking in seasoning with sad textures. Mushy rice. There are better options for taste and quality at this price point. Would not recommend trying.
