Came here for brunch. The brunch flight is ok. Kind of tasted like they add zero alcohol to all of it. The chilaquiles was pretty bland. And served already soggy chips. The bread pudding French toast was dry, syrup didnt save it. Egg sandwich was okay. They don't toast the bread. The candied bacon was my favorite. It was the best thing ordered.

Okay bar with different themed nights. For bar food, the food looks pretty good but I have yet to try. Will write an update if I do.

Came in for dinner on a quiet Thursday night. They were only a few other people in the restaurant. I ordered a steak. It came out cold and overcooked. It wasn't even warm enough to melt the compound butter on top. But I was on a date and I didn't want to make a scene. so I choked down a cold overcooked steak. Our server never really came back to check on us. I had to go up to the bar to ask for my check and the bartender had to go hunt for our server. Overall, extremely disappointing experience. I won't be coming back..

The food and service here were amazing! The biscuits and elk gravy were my favorite. The mimosa and brunch flights were perfect. We would liked to have tried more of the drinks but we were so full we couldn't! Definitely a must try.

The East Burn is just a vibe. The staff is always really nice. It's hard to go wrong with the menu. Blood orange mimosas are great! Croque madam is delicious. For dinner, the beef wellington is delicious! Patio swings are the cherry on top!

Server was super nice and attentive. Turned on the table fireplace as it was slightly chilly on the back patio. The patio is cute with swinging chairs and decor. The food was good - the beer bread yummy and the cider braised pork hash had nice flavor. The pork wasn't great by itself but when mixed with the bowl was all a yummy combo. The flights were delicious and nice to try! Finished with a chai and baileys almande which may have been star of the show!

I love this hole in the wall brunch spot! They have some of the best options for mimosas (and $3 refills!) and the Bloody Mary is so unique! The food here always hits, I love getting the biscuits and mushroom gravy! My boyfriend recently got the green chorizo scramble and fell in love. We will be back ? if you want some good comfort food or tasty drinks, I recommend this place! ?

Staff are obnoxious upstairs so I won't ever go back. Never had an issue with downstairs bartenders though so if you're headed down there for an event, you should be okay.

Meh... The food was pretty good but the service was not. Even though we had made reservations for our party days before hand we were pushed to not eat here because "we stop serving drinks at 9:45 and close at 10." Ok then! Why did you even take this reservation at all if you didn't want us there? It was only 9pm on a Saturday night, and although it was a party of 11 we understand if you are closing that we will be quick as possible. My advice is to quit complaining and do your job and earn the big tip we left you.

TL;DR - Would definitely recommend. Dimly lit, sort of a bar vibe inside, but interestingly decorated with unique furniture and a beautiful outdoor patio in the back. If it's a nice day, I recommend dining out there! There are many customizable menu options. Enough for the vegans, vegetarians, omnivores and carnivores! The menu items are all savory without being heavy, and the omelette come with delicious seasoned house potatoes. The portions are adequate, not super large. I ordered a side to go along with my main menu option (main - tofu scramble, side: sauteed veggies, in oil, not butter) and it was perfect in presentation and quality. It was not busy around 1330 hrs on a Thursday, and we were immediately greeted and showed to our seats. Our waitress, Angel was friendly, knowledgeable and kept our drinks filled.Would definitely recommend.Vegetarian options: Vegan options too!Dietary restrictions: Clearly labeled menu.

Really great spot in N.E. Portland Oregon. If you are looking for a great bloody mary this is a great choice. On top of that the food was great as well. If you want to see a video of it check out my YouTube,
