Pretty cool location. Came in for lunch on the 10th anniversary. Good deals going on $5 pints and special beers to choose from the 25 year old barley wine was outstanding. And the fresh hop beers were really good to. Food was excellent. Mac and cheese was fantastic. Fries were very good to. It was very busy for the 10th anniversary. The place was packed. Our time was cut short. But still had a good time while we were there.

Such a beautiful restaurant and delicious food! Loved the atmosphere (space pun intended). Ecliptic burger and Meatloaf Melt were perfect. Delicious fries!

Had a great time outside with actual table service. A rarity nowdays at breweries and bars. We loved it. Made it so we could actually talk as a group instead of getting up to get beers and wait in a line. Great beer and a really cool area to relax outside. Lots of fun people and dogs!

Really yummy beer! Food was good as well, we had the chicken wings, bbq sandwich (with pork) & chicken + waffles. Also got the s’mores tart. A worthy stop if you’re in Portland.

Whether you're from Portland or just visiting, you should make this a stop on your cosmic journey. The food is delicious with offerings for all appetites and the beer is some of the best in the city if not the country. Brewmaster John Harris is a pioneer of the craft industry with galactic-themed beers that never disappoint. Any trip to Portland isn't complete without a stop at Ecliptic.

Fabulous location with ample outdoor seating! Unfortunately, service was slow (not busy). I had to send back my beer because it was supposed to have 'sparkles' in it. The only reason we went there was for Portland's Nacho Week where Ecliptic was offering Beef Birria Nachos. Unfortunately, there was no BEEF in them. Just chips with pickled veggies. Maybe the rest of their menu is great, but promotions like this are meant to entice new customers to become regulars and I feel like this was just a token effort. It's unlikely I'll return.

I was visiting Portland over a long weekend with a group of 4 and stopped here for dinner one night. We were unimpressed with the food but it also seemed like this place was very unorganized. We had initially sat outside and ordered drinks, but asked to move inside before we got our food order because it was still pretty sunny and warm out. Once inside, we were asked to use the QR code to order and pay our tab for the rest of our order, which was easy and worked. We stayed for a few hours and flagged down a different waitress since we hadn’t seen the first one, to ask about paying for our first round of drinks since it wasn’t on the new tab. She left to look for it, came back once more to ask what we had ordered, and then came back again and said they couldn’t find it and that it would be on the house. We thanked her and stayed a while longer still. On our way out, a third employee came running after us and told us we had an outstanding balance we had to pay. We told her what the previous waitress had said but she said no it’s right here. We of course didn’t have a problem paying it, since we had initially brought it up to the other waitress earlier. But someone could have told us they found the check before we were half way to our car.

Beers were good. Service was a bit awkward as they push you to self order. My canadian area code likely prevented that so service was a bit slower. The space itself is nice for a brewery

Been coming here for years and usually have a good experience. Last time I was here, it was clear that they were understaffed and it appeared that they had one server to cover all of the tables, and they were pretty crowded. It wasnt a great experience. Hoping that was a fluke, I came back today a few weeks later and it was worse. Nearly full house, but only one waitress. I don't blame her because she was frazzled and trying her best to keep up, but it was such a bad experience (and for several tables around us if I overheard correctly,) that I probably won't be back anytime soon.

Just had the worst meal. I used to love the Melted Beet Sandwich before Covid. I ordered it expecting it to be the same but they changed it and it was horrible. 2 slices of bread with one slice of beet a with crispy something (not sure) and horrible cream cheese spread. I cannot believe I payed $16.00 for that. The salad was just some lettuce. Diet coke was small with a bunch of ice. I am so sad to have to say this but I am not going back!! Service was not great either. Beer never came so we had to get up and ask.

Came here both during and after brewery dining month. We were able to find something for everyone on the menu including toddlers and adults with a variety of special food requests including food allergies, vegetarian, and GF diets! They also have a variety of beers on draft including an altbier and a porter at the times we visited. The service was prompt especially on my second visit when the server recognized me. We were also able to grab cans for sale! There is plenty of seating indoors and out and i cant wait to visit again!

Vegetarian options: There were a number of Vegetarian options on the menu plus a veggie patty that wasnt listed but was available for substitution! I was able to eat here 2x in one week and still have several items to choose from.

Kid-friendliness: We came in with 2 toddlers and a baby and saw serveral other families as well. A chill atmosphere with both high chairs and booster seats, plus a 4 item kids menu!

Dietary restrictions: I have food allergies and was able to make special requests confidently.
