We popped in on a time crunch as we had a plane to catch. They sat us quickly and we got our drinks and food just as fast. The brisket white curry is a must ridiculously tender, saucy and with a slight kick! I’d also recommend the “yes no, maybe so” if you’re looking for a refreshing, flavorful cocktail. The presentation was cute!

SO worth the wait. Incredible, delicious, unique food paired with insanely good customer service. We received bad news on our way to the restaurant and were visibly bummed out -- the bartender went above and beyond and made sure we had an excellent experience. Cannot recommend enough just for a normal day, but on a bad day, it really turned our moods around. Amazing food and insanely good cocktails with incredible people!

We came here a few years ago back but the quality and the standards are still high. I am Thai and still find the menu here so impressive. The combination of ingredients are so balanced and new to me. It is fun to try their menu. Outstanding hospitality as well!!!

I really like it! Other than it’s kinda oily for the food and the fried rice is harder than I expected everything is great!

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Each dish was amazing and the drinks were very unique. If I lived in Portland, I would go here all the time. So so so good

Super duper cute place, I can definitely see why it’s popular. The papaya salad is fire, very very spicy. We love spicy food and it was nice to have it actually be spicy when they warn. The white curry was tasty but lacked acidity, even just a bit of a lime squeeze would do. The red vegetable curry had these amazingly prepared cremini mushrooms, but the overall flavor was a bit lacking, as if they hadn’t used quite enough curry paste. Overall a good experience tho, good music played in there and great vibes. To be fair we are use to very traditional Thai and that isn’t what EEM claims to be!

The pork belly was melt-in-your-mouth perfect—crispy edges, rich flavor, absolutely unforgettable. What really surprised me, though, was the white curry. The use of coconut was so subtle and delicate—it added depth without overpowering, a perfect balance. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in Portland.

My best bite in PDX this year!

Still drooling over this DELICIOUS meal from Eem! Every dish was so flavorful on its own but everything came together beautifully.

We started off with some tropical cocktails which really set the mood. They have a large nonalcoholic menu which I thought was really cool.

We decided to eat family style so that we could try out as many dishes as possible. Portions were gracious so all of left full. Highly recommend ordering like this for groups.

We shared the Thai ceviche, cauliflower, BBQ fried rice, smoked pork belly, and white curry with brisket among four friends.

The pork belly and brisket curry were INSANE.
The pork just melted away with so much flavor and the white curry was comforting and smooth. The cauliflower was also a big hit, not mushy and tossed in a flavorful sauce. Who would have thought that Texas BBQ and Thai food needed to have a love affair?!

For a boisterous group we were silenced by the flavors of every bite. Clearly a good sign for our table 😂 lapping up every sauce and picking up even the tiniest grain of rice to savory it all.

Indoor and outdoor seating is available. We sat inside, but I loved that they had large windows opened to let in the sunny day.

When I say I will be thinking about this meal for a while, I’m not lying. Sad to be heading home but looking forward to coming back to PDX to dine at Eem again!

The fried chicken appetizer was amazing! The bbq pork fried rice was alright delicious but meh. Not pictured is the red curry, massaman and white curry which we literally inhaled. I needed the mango pannacotta to make my life that much better. Multiple ppl told me to visit EEM and I’m so happy we did!
