Holy moly this was some of the best food I have ever eaten. In my life. The burnt ends curry, fried chicken, and ceviche were unforgettable. Drinks were amazing. Service was top notch. Dying to go back!

Incredible food and fun interior/ambiance, though cocktails were mediocre. Highlight of our visit to Portland and visited twice in 2 weeks. The food was unbelievably tasty — they really didn’t compromise on Texan barbecue quality with their Thai focus. The white curry with brisket burnt ends was one of the best dishes I’ve had all year. The massaman lamb curry was phenomenal too.The cocktails (Shoulda Woulda Coulda and Life of Luxury) were unfortunately overly sweet and candy-like. I would skip them and just get a cold Singha draft or their alcohol-based slushies instead. We received cold service on our first visit but super friendly and attentive service on the second. We walked in with no wait on a Monday at 4:30pm and waited 1h30 on Saturday evening at a great wine bar across the street.

Transcendental pork belly burnt ends. The fried rice has an excellent smokey taste and the fried chicken is so juicy, crunchy, and delicious

Tried 4 different things. They were all just ok. Wait was long but we went and grabbed a drink and they text us. Service was a bit slow.

Straight up delicious, worth the wait and then some. Flavors off the charts. Drinks were delicious and service was the right pace and energy for a Saturday lunch

The food was good. Not so extra than other places and definitely not worth the 1.5 hour wait in the cold winds. Atmosphere inside is unknown but in the make do shed on the side of the street it feels like Saigon 1974. The low red lights with the red letters on the menu contribute to this too. One thing i really liked was the plate design.Kid-friendliness: Too crowded and busy for kids; if you sit outside in the shed, don't even think about.

Waited over 20min to be greeted at our table. After looking around at servers passing us for quite sometime without noticing us, Someone finally stopped and asked if we had been taken care of yet. He was very nice. We ordered two cocktails and an appetizer, we received our appetizer before our drinks. For how expensive and trendy this place is and for how many people are working there, it doesn’t seem unreasonable to have basic service down and coursing things out appropriately. I think the manager dropped the app even without asking if we’re waiting on drinks. Food and drinks were tasty and creative, so it was a bummer about the service.

Eem!! Legendary Thai in a city known for awesome Thai. What makes Eem special is that it’s more BBQ focused. And that’s our win.Eem is delicious. We loved everything we ordered but my personal favorite was the Lamb Shoulder. The curry was delicious and the lamb was cooked to perfection. The flavors and textures are next level. The White Curry Brisket lives up to the hype. Each bite of Brisket falls apart in your mouth. The Fried Rice was a hit at our table as well. It’s super tasty and that hit of lime makes it explode in your mouth. The Fried Chicken is boneless and might be your favorite dish. I know I’m hyping up everything up… but what can I say? It’s all that good. I need to go back now and explore the rest.

My friend and I shared the white curry and it was incredible. One of the best Thai curries I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back!

Terrible service that starts with this young white hostess screamed at my face to fall in line when I literally just followed the guy in front of me when there are no other space to fall in line to!!! I’m a 1000% sure she will not do that to a white woman ever in her life. Ironic that they’re serving Thai food and scream at non-white customers. Will not go to this place even if there are no other places to go. Too bad I’ll tell everybody I know to not even go near this awful of a place.Read the other low reviews if you’re even thinking of going to this place. You might just be the next victim of an overrated restaurant in Pdx. I wish I did. There are other better places to go to in and around the area.I bet the high ratings are mostly from the owner(s) and their workers and their extended families. DON’T BE FOOLED !!!
