The inconsistencies here can be directly traced back to the change in ownership. I’ve had several instances of a subpar experience since then, but I’ll detail today’s here: online ordering turned off at 1:00, was told the kitchen closes “15 minutes” before the actual store closes at 2:00, but still was unable to order food between 1:30-1:40 at the counter. Not exactly hospitable when you’re in the business of hospitality… like, I just want to spend my dollars here but y’all make it challenging!!! Good grief

If you’re on the fence about the matcha creamsicle, get it. It WORKS. It tastes like an actual orange creamsicle with creamy vanilla notes, and the matcha adds a sweet, grassy freshness to round it out. I’m obsessed and ordered twice so far! They also serve Jen’s pastries so that’s an added bonus ??.

I ordered the iced soy chai which was delicious. I also ordered the vegan breakfast sandwich which was a HUGE letdown. A disgusting vegan patty served with warm pickles and no discernible sauce or green to balance it out. It was horribly bland, no real flavor, and a total waste of money.

The Coffee Flip mocktail was very smooth and nicely balanced. I am grateful they are using Tanglewood chai and have summer slushies, currently ube or coffee.
The food was outstanding but more importantly how kind and considerate they are to the local homeless community. Taking the time and effort to ensure everyone is welcome was great to see.

This looked like a decent spot to get coffee and breakfast while also getting some work done. I can imagine this spot does much better in the evenings. Pretty dark inside which I wasn’t a fan of. I got the breakfast burrito and was pretty disappointed. It was very bland even after soaking it in salsa. Internet also didn’t work. Likely wouldn’t go back for breakfast

Had a quick cappuccino and pain au chocolate before a tattoo appointment in the area. The cappuccino is amazing, but the pastry was chewy and stale. I didn't mind though, because the music from the live LP DJ and the sunshine through the open garage doors was so lovely. Beautiful shop.

Decadent decorations that feel glamorous and glitzy, and we still felt comfortable with our kids inside the shop for the morning. Recommend the maple bolo egg sandwich and the pastries - especially the snickerdoodle!Also had a coffee mocktail (Salty Russian) and a Tanglewood chai.The baristas were kind and friendly. We plan to be back!
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options for each food item. A few vegan pastries as well.
Kid-friendliness: Kids were welcome in the restaurant. No kids menu or anything but we get welcomed.
