For me, the test of a good Mexican food establishment is their carnitas. The carnitas street taco here is one of the best I've had in Portland. Crispy carnitas with really good flavor on soft fresh corn tortillas... ? delicious ? Their salsa verde was also really good.

the go to in st.johns for burritos. great service and food. their wet burritos are yummy and the tacos are pretty good too. I always get an horchata with my order. 10/10 love these guys

The street tacos are one of the best in pdx. I've always had a hard time finding a decent al pastor taco in the states, and they have the best I've had outside of Mexico.

I got 2 carnitas tacos, 2 pastor tacos, a horchata, and a side of rice. The tacos were pretty greasy.... Like picking them up the tortillas were SOAKED in it. Their carnitas tacos were pretty good once you get past the greasy tortillas, but their pastor tacos were not it.... The rice, was pretty bland... and the horchata was pretty good, but the cup he gave me was pretty smashed where the lid goes on, and so it leaked and spilled everywhere. This all cost me about $20... Would maybe come back for the carnitas tacos, if my usual places were not open for some reason...... Just to greasy for me....
Not sure why they say closed on a Sunday but they are opened and I'm really glad they were because the burrito craving hit hard today. This cart is somewhat hidden in a corner behind the beer porch in the St John Food Cart Pod. Looks a little suspicious at first but there was one thing on my today and it's burrito. Gave their Veggie Breakfast Burrito and it's divine. Huge, as all burritos should be, and packed with perfectly cooked veggies like broccoli and mushrooms. The eggs were also very creamy. Loads and loads of cheese bound the burrito together. The tortilla looks a whole grainy but it's delicious and crispy. Kinda messy to eat but that's how you know it's GOOOOD. Also, the salsas. Get both if you can. Very tasty and strong. Me likey. Thanks so much for fulfilling my craving today. Please go check them out!

I hate to leave negative reviews, but my Steak Fajita Burrito just wasn't edible (threw it out after 5 or 6 bites)... consisted almost entirely of bland, unseasoned green bell peppers and onions, watery pinto beans, and just a tiny bit of meat.... just a mushy flavorless mess... 2 stars instead of 1 because guy working here seemed nice and like he was at least trying.
