This place was delicious! The staff were super friendly and had great hospitality. You definitely have to get a drink if you’re there. The margarita soft serve was absolutely amazing. Basically everything was a 10/10. Should definitely swing by if you’re in the area!
Great food!

The most bland yet overpriced Mexican food in all of Portland. Do yourself a favor and find a food truck instead.

I came in with high hopes because I’d heard so many good things about this place, but unfortunately my experience didn’t live up to the hype.
The service really set the tone. Our server seemed uninterested and unengaged the entire time—no greeting, no energy, and no effort to make us feel welcome. It honestly felt like we were inconveniencing her just by being there.
As for the food, it was just as disappointing. The dishes were dry and lacked flavor, and the al pastor didn’t even include pineapple, which is a pretty basic expectation. The only thing that stood out in a good way was the chips and salsa.
Overall, the experience felt off from start to finish. I really wanted to like this place, but between the service and the food, it just didn’t deliver.

I really wanted to love this place because the food was genuinely great—everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the service completely took away from the experience.
When we first walked in, there was no greeting or acknowledgment, which already felt a bit off. The only way we ended up being seated was when our server abruptly grabbed menus and dropped them on the table without saying anything. It set an uncomfortable tone right from the start.
Throughout the visit, the hospitality just wasn’t there. The interaction felt cold and unwelcoming, and to make matters worse, when it came time to pay, the server stood hovering over me, which felt very uncomfortable and rushed.
It’s disappointing because the food really is worth trying, but the overall experience was overshadowed by the poor service. I hope they can improve the hospitality side, because it makes a big difference.
