OMFG, so good. I cannot believe that food this good is tucked away in this little place. We tried most of everything–Arepas, Empanadas, the bowl (which came with tostones, maduros, arroz and super tasty beans, carne), Passion Fruit and Soursop Juice. All super excellent. The staff were super friendly too. We ate with our Colombian friend and she gave it top ratings as well.
Parking: 3-4 spots, just for spaceage and El Pilon customers

Wow! I just ordered the Patacon Pisao and it was so delicious. Love the crunch with the shredded chicken. The Mayo sauce is yummy on top as well.

Great spot! I used to live in Colombia and was not disappointed, so glad this is in our neighborhood. Really enjoyed the El Pilon Chicken on a Patacon (fried plantain), and the empanadas were also real good.
Maracuya (passionfruit) juice was great. The Lulo juice didn't taste quite strong enough but maybe it's hard to get good Lulo in Portland? Anyway, overall would highly recommend. We'll be back!

I am just so glad I tried this pla e, the empanadas are to die for and the sauces are amazing! Yucca frita FTW!!

To preface this review, I'm very much a steak/potatoes or chicken/rice kinda eater. Rarely do I waver from my normal diet. I work close by and decided to give it a shot as i didn't bring lunch. I was BLOWN away. The food was so flavorful and delicious! Not only was the food delicious, the family who runs the place was kind, knowledgeable, and gracious. If I could give you 10 stars I would. I'll be forgetting to bring lunch more often from here on out.

These were handmade arepas and empanadas and holy heck abuela going off!!!! Probably the best I’ve ever had and will 100% be back here. Went here for lunch…. Was annoyed it took over 20 mins to make my food due to the time constraint of lunch break. Order ahead is going to be the move next time. There will be many next times based on the quality and freshness of the food.

Cannot believe this place exists and I've lived nearby so long without knowing. Literal hidden gem tucked behind a gas station serving up really incredible food at more than fair prices with excellent customer service. They made my salsa extra spicy to order and everything was so good I almost turned around and ordered more. Everything is sans gluten and they have options for vegans. Wow wow wow so damn delicious. Would post photos but I smashed it to bits before it got past my nose.
