I tried the reina pepiada which was pretty good tasting but did not blow me away. It came with a a side of maduros. The pricing is fairly steep, with the arepas ranging from $12-$15. For comparison, La Arepa has vegan arepas for $9-$10. I do not feel that the pricing is competitive for a food cart. That said, this place is worth checking out. Great arepas. This may be our new favorite vegan restaurant.

Absolutely incredible! I wasn't even hungry when I ordered but i knew I had to try this place while I was in town, I ate it all. The housemade poyo was insanely flavorful and realistic. I've been to over 100 vegan restaurants and this place instantly made my top 5 list. Make sure you try this place!

Wow that was incredible. I got the poyo con queso, and it was 10/10. I understand why this place has 5.0 stars, it was ?. Their poyo is made from chickpea and wheat gluten, which is great cause I'm a little sensitive to soy and can't do soy curls

So glad I finally checked out this vegan Venezuelan comfort food cart at The Bite on Belmont! Paola recommends dishes suited to your taste, and I knew I was ready to try the savory and comforting arepas. I ordered the special with savory stewed and shredded chicken. The arepa is a corn patty crispy outside and fluffy inside, stuffed FULL with tasty ingredients and incredibly satisfying. It came with crispy tostones (plantain fritters) and ranch for dipping. She also recommended a papelon to drink, boiled sugar cane juice lemonade served ice. They have sweet hot drinks for the colder weather too. Happily recommend this place whether you're vegan or not!

Everything I've had has been amazing but my favorite was the patacon. You can get it with different fillings. I think my favorite filling is the carne mechada but they're all delicious. If you get an arepa you get the most delicious tostones on the side. They are perfectly salty, chewy on the inside, and slightly crispy on the outside. The sauces take things to the next level too as they are so flavorful! The best part of the visit is the owner, Paola, is so sweet that she makes you feel right at home.

I’m not even vegan and this food is stunning. I would eat it every day if I could. The pollo con queso arepa is life and the tostones are to die for.

Soooo happy to find a 100% vegan Venezuelan spot! The arepas were huge and overflowing with flavor. And they had hallacas! I haven't been able to have hallacas since going vegan, and these really hit the spot. The patacones were delicious, the guisado was tender, and the sauces were very flavorful. We can't wait to try the empanadas! The service was fantastic - very warm and welcoming. We ordered a lot of food, and it didn't take long for our order to be ready. Thank you for existing and for making delicious food! We will definitely be back :)

Great all vegan fare place. I recommend the empanada. We also ordered a patacon, which was a sandwich in between two fried plantains. The arepas were good as well.
