Great spot for dinner with the family, friendly staff and good food/service.
My organization, North by Northeast Community Health Center, recently held one of our community events, and we expected over 150 guests. We placed the order, and it was ready to pick up on time. The food portions were great, and many people asked who catered the food, as everything was so good!
Quotes from our guests:
“Staff were so friendly and helpful”
“The street tacos, rice and beans were FIRE!”
“Loved the Rice and Beans”
“EVERYTHING was GREAT!”
“My new Mexican Restaurant!”
We will definitely use them again, Thank you El Tapatio!
It's been 9 years since I started coming to el Tapatio, and we always try to go every month. Their enchiladas suizas & carne asada are the best of the best! Forever my favorite restaurant.
This was the best place to eat. The service was very good. Food plates were very hot to handle the need for a potholder to move it.
So disappointed. My family usually likes this place, but I went in and ordered food with specific instructions, I got home and nothing was right. I'm sorry I left a generous tip. What an absolute let down. I won't be going back!
We used to come here s lot but it's been awhile. Their is this one waitress, she did not speak English and she will say some things that was not nice to the people she was waiting on because they don't understand Spanish. We had no problem with her because my wife in Mexican. We did not like how she treated other people there so we won't be back.
Amazing!!! They have theeee best real homemade Mexican food! Yum!!

Food was great; however drinks were not the best. We ordered strawberry Margaritas; it tasted like straight syrup. I was told after I question waiter about the syrup taste, was told it was premixed. I asked for a non-pre-mix with my fav tequila. Before Leaving I ask for a shot. Straight Shot cost less than the shot I asked for my Margarita. I was charged regular price for Magarita plus addition charge for shot and extra charge for upgrading. Will not be back, waiter took my DL to supposedly scan it. I've been to other Mexican restaurants, and they never take your ID/DL.
Food tasted like Costco ingredients. Slow service. Hardly any meat in meat dish.
Great food at a great price. Would recommend raising the lights in the entry so those of us who are tall don’t hit their head?
Classic Mexican restaurant with exceptional food and service. The house salsa is incredible.
Great food and service with even better friends 🧡
