En Vida es muy delicioso. This cute little spot nestled away in a cozy corner of town is inconspicuous and tasty. I was blown away by everything I tried. Their empanadas were packed which is hard to find at times, the prices were reasonable, and the variety hits almost every Latin American country I enjoy eating in. 😂
Gluten free tip, almost completely GF except for the burger buns. They can be swapped out for tostones. It's a great alternative if you've never tried a tostone burger. Celiac friendly.
Cinco estrellas 💫💫💫💫💫
Dietary restrictions: Celiac friendly, except the burger buns.

My friend introduced me to En Vida this weekend and I’ve already brought my family back. Is this restaurant one of Portland’s best kept secrets? The food at every level is some of the best I’ve had in Portland recently. Menu highlights for our family: Yuca Frita, Maduros, Salchi Papa, Vaca Frita. Don’t sleep on the house dipping sauces, especially the aioli. Very family friendly with wrapped tables, kid-friendly drinks. Just very impressed with the level of conscientiousness, execution and attention to every element of the food.
Kid-friendliness: Accommodated small children, tables wrapped for easy clean up, brought plastic cups for my 3 and 6 yo. Food really appealing to my kids, no unanticipated spiciness for finicky palates.

Just had lunch here on a rainy Sunday and knowledgeable Asha recommended the soup and oh my goodness it was amazing!! 3 different types of Potatoes, chicken in a broth served with a type of crème fraise ( don’t recall the name), rice, avocado and capers on the side. Recommend trying this place!!

Really good food & great service. I'm not Colombian and I don't know if it's authentic, but the food was fresh and delicious. It's a small restaurant but it gives very cozy vibes. We happened to come during happy hour and we ordered a Colombian hotdog and some Tostones.
Everything was delicious as well as the non-alcoholic drinks that we ordered. For our main dish, my friend and I shared the Bandeja paisa. It was really good and we wanted to try a little bit of everything so I would definitely recommend that if you want a variety of food. Check this place out if you're in Portland or near Fremont Street.

Everything was high quality and creative. But to me the pork in the cubano was way too salty. Really threw it off for me.
