We had made a reservation online for 2 at a table a week in advance. When we arrived on time we had to wait a little while, and then we're taken to two seats at the bar. When I noted that was not the option we reserved the mgr response was ... So sorry, That's all we have, we don't have a table for you. Wouldn't look it up. We stayed only because it was a Saturday night and getting another option at that hour elsewhere would have been difficult. Clearly we weren't happy. Mgr didn't stop back by to see how we were, or make a gesture like comping a dessert. Food was good but not fabulous. Nostrana is just about filling their seats. Clearly 2 people don't count as much as 4. Don't count on your reservation being honored.

Although the rigatoni is delicious and the place is nice, they have a terrible service charge policy. While seated, they charge you 22%, and then you get a receipt saying you can add a “tip.” How? Didn’t I already pay it? Apparently not. If you want to tip your waiter/waitress directly, you have to give it on top of that 22%. It’s unfortunate how they translate the cost of wages onto customers and make you feel bad about it. Nowhere in the world have I left a 27-30% tip. I wouldn’t return due to this bad experience at the end.

We had a lovely event celebrating our company’s 19th anniversary. You folks created a beautiful atmosphere for us to celebrate. WONDERFUL staff and the food was spectacular. Catered to our 2 vegan folks as well. Really lovely evening. Thank you!

I was hesitant to try some of the stuff in the charcuterie board. My partner asked about it and the waitress ensured us we would not leave anything on the plate. She was correct. I did not know beef tongue could leave you wanting more. Very friendly staff. It's fun to sit at the counter and watch them make the food. My new favorite restaurant in PDX. Can't wait to go back.

The atmosphere is nice, clean, dim lighting (I like this, I know some people don't). The service was ok. Our waitress was average, the guy who served our pizza to us was super friendly and nice.The food was alright. I didn't care much for the arancini or the tiramisu. Arancini is very onion-heavy, and the tiramisu has a thick, hard layer of ganache on top. When you try to stick a fork in, it just smashes the desert into the plate because of how hard the ganache is. I feel like that, generally speaking, tiramisu is a creamy, smoothe, delicate dessert. At least it has been everywhere else I've had it.I'll say that while the pizza is definitely solid, my overall thought is that for the price of everything, I really don't think I should be leaving and feeling hungry. I don't feel the food, as good as it, is worth the prices they are charging for it. Bill was around $80 or $90.

I was mistaken that this was a more casual setting of Nostrana. As a lone diner, I entered and was going to sit at one of the empty seats at the bar. Rather than nicely informing me that you have to be seated by a Nostrana host next door, the bartender was so rude that I ended up just leaving.

Our dining experience at Enoteca started off really well, but it took a slide. Starters and second course were brought out at the right time/rhythm, and our bartender/host gave appropriate wine recommendations given our menu selections. Unfortunately, the third course took a very long time to come out from the kitchen, the temperatures of each dish didn’t match (one clearly sat on the counter waiting for the other), the polenta beneath the trout was greasy/not complementary of the fish, and apologies from our host resulted in a meager bill comp.Lesson learned: Come here for pizza or pasta and a starter! You’ll get great flavors, nice service, and you’ll save a lot on your bill. We found our total to be much more expensive than what might be comparable to other restaurants of similar caliber.

We were here for a wedding reception, and often that means less than stellar cuisine, but this restaurant's food and drinks were over the top wonderful! We had a 7 course meal that was outstanding at every level. Radicchio salad had no bitterness, was so well balanced. Pasta with ragu was so tasty. Porchetta and lentil stuffed peppers were truly great. Cauliflower is not something I like but this lemony creamy version was super, and even the broiled broccoli was terrific. Desert of chocolate sort of mouse sort of cake was so good that not one drop was left on any plates! Cocktails were outstanding and imaginative with some ingredients that I have only been able to find in Italy, including the after dinner drinks, and wines were a terrific selection as well. If this is what they serve for ordinary dining, I'd say it's worth a trip for sure. Service was outstanding as well.
