Rotate your staff, whoever was working today clearly hates their job and is condescending as hell. Maybe its the heat, maybe its them, either way they left a bad taste in my mouth before I even payed for my food. Best of luck to them and whoever runs this place! :)

I love this place. I love this pizza. I love the folks who work here. I came in right at closing one night and they let me and my bestie in still and served us with a smile. Literally SO NICE and I'll love them forever for that.

We ordered a medium pizza for three people, and it was very good. The ambiance was also pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place.

Probably the closest to nyc pizza but still to be desired.

Wandering this Portland neighborhood, we strolled by this place. It was only a few steps past it, when my wife espoused on how good a slice looked that a woman was having at one of their outdoor tables.

Both she and I woke up the next day and had both been thinking about it and decided to go there to grab a slice for lunch.

Did it taste as good as that lady’s slice did the previous day? Oh, yeah!

Great crust - thin, crispy; yet strong enough to hold the toppings.

It’s a small, funky place with a small counter and a couple of tables outside - the perfect environment for a true NY slice.

Definitely a place I’ll return to on another visit to Portland.

No fuss, just great new york style pizza that hits the spot. Great spot for people watching as you eat.

If you’re getting a slice don’t waste your time at other PDX pizza joints. This one is the best. Crust that fills! Toppings & sauce that are delicious. Cheese that strings!

Last week I spend a few days in Portland, it's impossible to understand people liking this horrible pizza no flavor or taste nor is it fit for dog food!
Need I say anything more.

came in for a slice and pretty disappointed. it was served a lil cold, it was wet/slimy underneath, and the crust was like super thin wet dough that pulled apart just by touching it. had to ask for a knife & fork to attempt to eat it, when i picked up the top crust it fell right off. tried mentioning it and got shrugged off. 8 dollars (with tip) for one slice that was cold/slimy/mostly inedible. kind of a funny memorable experience all in all (probably just a bad day for them) but with the cold attitudes as well i will probably not be returning

The best late night pizza place out of NYC!
Slices are so thin, cheese is perfect, and any pizza you get is phenomenal!

I can see why it’s called escape from New York, because this is definitely not a new York pizza I can tell you that for a fact. Definitely overpriced for slices of pizza but service is friendly and atmosphere is nice.
